Absolutely awesome. I have never had a steak that perfectly done in my entire life. 

I enjoyed this place more than Cut. The food the atmosphere the steak and the oysters. This is a great spot  well done to owners and operators

Heh. It's ok. 
The starter we shared (steak bread) was far too sweet, and over complicated for what it was. We had the feature of the evening, a lamb shank; the overall plate was good, with the side vegetables being the highlight. The lamb was fine, but the sauce (pretty much brown gravy) was very salty.
This place seems to be riding the idea of a high end steak house, with pretty unimaginative dishes, appealing to older crowds and people that like generic steak house food. After reading the description of the chef, I was quite excited to try the food, but was letdown. If I wanted generic, I would of went to The Keg, paid less, and probably would have enjoyed it more.
Our server was great, friendly, and was very good at her job.

I really enjoyed my time at the Barrington. The staff were friendly and courteous. They have an excellent selection of oysters and the steak was great. I enjoyed the sirloin and it was well seasoned and cooked appropriately. A must visit for fans of steak and oysters.

We went for drinks after dinner at the upstairs bar, which was a great place to sit and watch the bartenders in action (as well as learn a few things about making cocktails). They have a nice cocktail menu but, if you know what you want, they might make an off menu cocktail for you as well (I got a very nicely made Manhattan). Worth a stop on the way through, but I haven't eaten there so I can't say much about the food!

Hands down our favourite place to have dinner!  The steak bread, steak sandwiches and fries (yes, I said fries!) are the best ever.  The fries have a 'sour cream & onion' type of sauce on them - I could go there just for the fries!!!  Love this place.
