I love The Homedepot! I buy all my tools there, and also bought my deck package, fence package and pergola posts there! Any big projects, I go to The Homedepot.

I just want to recognize Carmaine for her great customer service. She was very kind and helpful in our search for a washer and dryer. While it did not work out for us logistically since we live out of the city and delivery is not available, we appreciate her effort! Very helpful and knowledgeable! She was able to help point us in the right direction and set us up with some other items that were in stock.

Some sales associates completely lack training and basic common reasoning skills. They don't know how to properly lift item and place in the car without scratching it. I had to watch closely and tell them each step. They didn't even use gloves to load the raw lumber and got a splinter. If you hire a person who is new to civilization, the training should be extensive. On the other hand there are few emoyees, who will display in depth knowledge of products and can really help.

We ordered a new Amana washing machine for my mom. The machine was delived on a cold day -25C. The delivery guys were great and they carried the machine directly inside for us. We were excited to install it and start washing. First, we removed the drain cap and found the drain outlet pipe was completely plugged with SOLID ICE. We let the unit warm up for 24hrs. During that time, the machine produced about two cups of water as the ice melted. The manufacturer's instruction book included inside the unit clearly states that the machine cannot have any water inside during transportation or storage in freezing weather. I am worried the pipes might be cracked or the pumps damaged inside. Home Depot is sending a new machine next week, but the weather is still very cold. I hope the replacement unit is not frozen.
