Pankish manager and Abel were truly first class helping us find over a dozen pink spray roses. We came 10 minutes past close and they were packaging the garden centre up - I told Pankish the importance of getting them today and he made it happen. He literally searched everywhere and found them so fast! I couldn’t believe it - they were in perfect condition too. Better than the high end green houses in the city. The garden centre was so organized and they knew where everything was even with so many flowers. Rushing out Pankish ran up and reminded us to purchase rose fertilizer. He already had it in his hand for us!!!! What a rockstar we’ve never had this kind of service at a hardware store. It was so personalized and honestly Pankish saved the day we couldn’t thank him enough. We will always drive to this Home Depot now thank you for your first class staff who genuinely want to help customers. Thank you Pankish and Abel for your expertise and genuine kindness it meant the world to us!!!!!!

visited the Strathcona Home Depot today to pick up a single tile. The associates were helpful and quickly directed me to the right aisle, which was great.nnHowever, checkout was a different story. The tile wouldn’t scan, so an associate tried to look up the price. It still didn’t work, so I went back to the shelf myself, took a photo of the price tag, and brought it forward. The associate then rang it in at double what I expected. When I questioned it, we realized the shelf tag showed the price per square foot, even though the physical tile measures 2 square feet.nnWhy display the price per square foot when the product is sold as individual 2 sq ft tiles? It’s misleading and caused unnecessary back-and-forth, extra walking, and time wasted for both me and the staff. Just put the actual selling price per tile on the tag. It would save everyone a lot of hassle.nnAssociates were friendly and tried to help, but the signage/pricing system needs to be clearer. Clean this up and it would be a much smoother experience.

You can’t depend on Dory to find Nemo but at the Home Depot, you better let Dory be your guide! She was SUPER knowledgeable, super friendly, and really listened and directed me based on my budget, my needs, and what I was painting. She nailed it! She kept me under budget, TAUGHT me how to prep, paint and coat. And the proof is in the pictures. Thank you Dory!

I procrastinate when there are too many choices so I went to this location and decided to just ask someone there for help making the actual choices for a house Reno bathroom and kitchen. Kunwar apologies for the spelling was incredible. Took on the challenge, asked me the right questions to narrow down option and then he’d present me 2-4 choices. That made choosing so much easier. If I had to do that myself, no choices would’ve been made. I’m honestly shocked how well this went. We designed two new bathrooms and a kitchen too. I go here a lot and everyone is very helpful

Every time I go to this Home Depot there are better people here. More knowledgable, easier to communicate with, more helpful. This is just a superior location. In particular Trent in the tool rental area, really knowledgable and helpful guy, and Brian in Fasteners. Just super guys that take the time to listen to your situation and discuss possible methods and different materials and their benefits, pros and cons etc. Same goes for the people in the paint and caulking areas and in plumbing where they have the shower stalls etc., including the lady that works in plumbing then switches to the outdoor plant area in summer, really good people. If you need materials and even advice for your home project, this is the Home Depot to come to, and way better than other South Common home improvement stores. Highly recommend this Strathcona location.
