My husband and I had an excellent experience with Melonie in the appliance section yesterday. We went in to purchase a dryer to replace our broken one. Melonie was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us recommendations with space to make a decision without being pushy like some sales people are. She even recommended a product to clean my washer gasket which I appreciated when I brought up a concern to her. I recommend dealing with her for your appliance needs and look forward to my new dryer!
Great stuff for lawns and gardens. Also good to find stuff to repair anything.
I shop at Home Depot regularly and honestly always enjoy coming in. The employees are usually extremely helpful, kind, positive, and professional. Every experience I’ve had up until today has been nothing but great, which is why I’m leaving 4 stars instead of less.nnI also want to mention that I normally never leave negative reviews because I understand people can have bad days and sometimes situations are just one-off experiences. I always try to be understanding. However, today was genuinely one of the worst customer service interactions I’ve experienced.nnUnfortunately, the employee assisting me today, Krishana, had an extremely poor attitude. She barely acknowledged customers asking for help, responded with mumbled sounds instead of complete words, and came across very rude and completely uninterested in assisting anyone. The level of attitude and obvious disrespect was honestly shocking, especially compared to the positive experiences I’ve consistently had at Home Depot.nnI don’t want this kind of behaviour to become a representation of Home Depot because the rest of the staff I’ve dealt with over the years have always been excellent. I just believe the company should be aware that this employee’s conduct reflected very poorly on the customer experience today.
Very disappointed with Home Depot customer service. I received a brand-new range hood with a defective light, and resolving the issue became far more frustrating than it should have been.nI spent hours on hold over multiple calls, received broken promises for callbacks, and was ultimately told I needed to drive to the store just to pick up a replacement light bulb myself. The only compensation offered was a $100 store credit, despite the fact that replacing or reinstalling the unit would cost me more out of pocket.nThe representatives were polite, but overall there was very little accountability or practical support. I expected much better service for a defective product purchased online.
Jack in the paint department was really helpful. The paint we had bought earlier didn’t match with our walls and he really helped us ensure we got the matching colour. Guided us throughout the process, and gave his recommendations on what can be done with the walls of our new home.nnThanks Jack! Cheers!
