Story

The founder Harry Michaels opened the doors to one of Toronto's most exquisite home decor galleries in 1969, he called it Arrow Furniture. One of the most popular questions we get is "Why the name Arrow?" Well the answer is very amusing and simple, he called it "Arrow Furniture" because the building was located on Arrow Road. Initially we only had half of the building in 1969, but in late 1970 we took over the building, the entire 64,000 square feet of it. This building combines both a showroom and warehousing for all four of our locations. Shortly after that in 1972 the second location was established, on Kennedy Road in Scarborough. After several years of being established and successful our third location was opened in the late 1970s in Mississauga Ontario. The amazing and loyal customer base we had built since opening our doors 1969, allowed us to open our fourth location in 1996 in Brampton, Ontario.

Striving to maintain customer satisfaction we established our own in house service department. Which turned out to be extremely beneficial to us, as we discovered how much more it made customers happy and satisfied with their purchase. Customers made it known to us how happy they were by giving us phone calls just to say "thank-you" and the best thanks we received was the repeat customers and their family and friends referrals.
