Read about this story before you put your valuable furniture into the incompetent and expensive hands of this 2 man restorer. For $ 1000.-- customer satisfaction guaranteed I put my beautiful dining table into their hands. First time it came back 2 shades darker, flat, rather than the original gloss, or semi-gloss I had asked for. They agreed to redo it. When it came back the second time it looked like light oak rather than walnut. Totally different I had picked a colour swap that said walnut not oak. They agreed to redo it. I even went to the shop and the restorer did a leaf in front of me. He put colour in the varnish quite incredible really, but it looked better even though still not like the original medium walnut. Watching the guy mix colours was an eye opener. I have never seen anything like it. There is no way he could remember what he did when he returned to redo the table. Anyway, when the table and leaves were delivered yesterday, every piece had different colours, irrespective of the different inlays on top. The legs weren't redone at all. I cannot use this table any longer it looks so terrible. I could have gotten a nice new one for the price. But Bob the owner? said, that's it. He was upset with me, when he should be upset with the restorer. Beware.
