African Textiles Center

A truly wonderful place to find colourful African clothing! After spending years working in west Africa and enjoying the colourful fabrics and clothing there, I began to miss it upon my return to Canada. I was so happy to find this place with its friendly & helpful owner! I exercised restraint and only bought four shirts this time, but you can bet I'll be back for more!

The mother of the store is wonderful, she is very supportive. She support my sewing shop business in placing my card about my sewing classes in her shop. She will also give me tip on where to buy fabric if it's not in her shop. This is what makes our business to grow as black business owner. Thanks Mother, I will visit your shop very soon.

Superb collection. They just need to organize it every night so that men's sizes are easier to find. Also get a website so that you can get a lot more foot traffic in this store. I was hoping to find a princess for my kingdom and no women were there.

I went there while back and bought a whole bunch of cloth. Great quality and great service. I look forward my next trip.

I waited for almost an hour to purchase something from this store at a time they stated they would be open. They state on the website that they are own on a Sunday from 12- 5 PM. I called continually and got no answer. They have nice stuff from what I can see through the window but communication is very poor!!!

Conveniently located. The owner is so kind and accommodating. Check it out if you're looking for African wear and accessories. I will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

They are very welcoming and sell very good quality fabrics.I make fabric jewellery and enjoy visiting the shop because of their wide variety and good prices
