Assistant store manager Daniel decided within his own violation to not accept a return. He didn't want to open the box and see that nothing was wrong with it. Just no longer needed. Not for the people, all business. If you're looking for great customer service, look elsewhere.
Neville at Home Depot Mount Pleasant was absolutely fantastic. We were trying to find cedar planks that showed as in stock online, but they weren’t actually on the shelf. Neville went above and beyond to help us. He tracked them down boxed up high above the aisles, got the crane to bring them down, and even opened the boxes to make sure we got exactly what we needed.nnHe was incredibly accommodating, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. Customer service like this is rare these days, and we really appreciated the extra effort he put in for us. Thanks again Neville!
I purchased a tractor battery and paid an extra $5 as a core deposit. Any other store would refund this when I bring the core old battery back. I have purchased countless car and lawnmower batteries and have never had a problem getting this deposit back. I brought the core to home depot and the employee had no idea what I was talking about and told me they do not refund the core fee. They told me they would call the manager who took about twenty minutes to waddle out of their office, who also refused to refund the core fee, because they didn't have an option on the computer. My receipt clearly shows the price of the battery and the $5 deposit. Why not just give the customer a $5 refund? It's a $75 battery by the way. Instead they'd rather waste my time and make me feel like an idiot for expecting to get a deposit back.
I have not had the best experiences in some home depots but this place is great.nI was welcomed at the door by an employee.nThere were many employees on the floor who were looking to help people and when they were asked a question they were very knowledgeable about not only the location of an item but about hardware and repair and construction work in general.nThe store was clean and laid out well and the checkout was fast and efficient.nI wish all home Depot locations can be run as well as this one is.nIf you need something from home Depot make this one your first stop.nnI just made a return visit to Home Depot and needed help from the staff. I'm pleased to say that the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. It is a pleasure to go to this home Depot location.
I had a really disappointing experience at this Home Depot. I went in looking for help and an employee named Jessica assisted me. Unfortunately, she had a very rude attitude from the start and seemed annoyed that I was asking questions. While I was standing there trying to get help, she started ignoring me and talking to other workers while I was still right in front of her waiting. It felt very disrespectful and unprofessional.I even asked if she could call the manager, but the situation didn’t improve. The manager also showed unprofessional behavior. He tried to charge me a delivery fee even though the delivery was already supposed to be included, and he didn’t want to answer any of my questions about it.nOverall, the customer service was very poor and the whole situation was handled unprofessionally. I expected much better service from Home Depot. 03/05/26 11:17am
