Today's visit was not the best because of the waiting time to get 2 copies of my house keys. I had to ask 2 different staff and wait each time I asked for someone to assist me. Finally, someone was able to make the copies. But I gave it a 4 stars because of the way the staff provided his service with a smile and consideration. I mean, The first staff that requested service for me saw me in another line now, to pay for the keys that I waited for too long to get and called me to ring me up! That's was super nice! By the way they have very nice personalized key models to choose from @ different prices.

Home Depot can't live without since we have a house now. DIY persons heavan and newbie gardeners none bank breaking pit stop. Jim there in the Garden dept is awesome. Been asking questions, taking advice and so knowledgeable. You can't ask someone who works there in the wrong dot and get the perfect answers. But I always ask the contractors desk questions and get answers and solutions. And they provide kids with workshops once a month that puts them in the awesome category.

I am amending my original post. In the past the Home Depot in Hawthorne was notorious for safety hazards, incomplete stock and unhelpful staff. They have definitely made a great deal of improvements to this store. I still prefer the stores in New Rochelle, Norwalk, Danbury and Rt 84 (Mohegan Lake?). But I commend the management and the staff for the great improvements they have made.

On 12/20 I needed a piece of plywood cut and asked an employee if he knew who could help me. He directed me to two guys standing near the big saw. I got there and clearly saw that they were also customers waiting on help. They said that they had already asked for help, so I went to a register where one helpful lady paged someone. Noone showed up after numerous pages and phone calls. Funally, I went to the customer service desk -ready to explode - and the lady there walked the floor to find the guy who should have been answering the pages chilling with his Homies. It finally got done.

Usually they have what you need but this location is often a lot messier/chaotic compared to the location in Port Chester. It is easy to reach though with plenty of parking generally but again often chaotic.
