The Home Depot

Terrible customer service. I have spent hours on the phone and still do not have my appliances. You call their call centre who tell you to call the store and then you talk to store and they tell you to call their delivery contractor. I spoke to the manager who promised to help and she literally never bothered to call me back nor follow through on calling delivery contractor. I never post negative reviews but I feel I must warn you. If you think buying something here that needs delivery is a good option.... Don't do it. Shop elsewhere and save yourself the grief.

Went today, bought supplies to re-roof 2 shed. We had great customer service. From the guy cutting plywood. To the guy showing us where to find all the supplies. Smiling happy cashier to the lot guy. 33 degrees lifting shingles into out truck with a smile. Would not take a tip.but sure deserved. Great service

*Great Crew, Nice People* Came in today as I was working on a new project and was in the need of some scrap wood. Super friendly and helpful staff. I was greeted with smiles by all the staff. When I picked out the pieces that would work one member offered to cut them down to size for me. I asked the guy how he liked working there, he replied "I like it, great crew, nice people." And I feel the same way. I will choose this location for any future projects.

I like this Home Depot, however today I was so very disappointed. Tried to buy some blinds and get them cut. After speaking with 5 (yes five) staff, it turns out both people who work this department were BOTH on break. Eventually a helpful staffer from another department contacted one of the members on break, who told them they'd be back to their department in 10 minutes. Another reviewer recommended going to the store on United Blvd- that store is a total disaster! It felt like the manager was on holidays for a month and staff stopped cleaning. Total mess and kaos everywhere! Both Home Depot stores (and RONA, if you are keeping track) have the hiding staff syndrome). Vanessa and Patrick at RONA are the exceptions. Occasionally Home Depot staff are very helpful, but unfortunately it's not on a regular basis. Customer service ain't what it used to be.

I came to home depot to purchase an outdoor fire pit and had my puppy who is a teacup and weighs 1 pound in a purse carrier with me.. I could not believe it when a staff member approached me telling me I could not be in the store with her... 1 it is a hardware store... 2 she is in a contained area... would be different if she were roaming... They had an "outdoor cooling station" for dogs... But you think I will leave a puppy who is this small in an open area where she could either be stolen or a bird get her... Absolutely not! ...I never have had an issue anywhere... I even bring her in Walmart.. I left with a really bad taste in my mouth and went to Rona that night to purchase my fire pit.. which ended up getting a better deal anyway! OH and they welcomed my pet EVEN encouraged her coming in without a carrier.... Will never go to Home Depot again... Ridiculous.
