Purchased a Valour insert for my upstairs fireplace a couple years ago, with a great sales rep William, so went to purchase one for the downstairs this past Oct.2020 William had retired so had to deal with someone else, purchased another valour insert, the whole experience was a so so, but then when I saw the install lines outside my house so very messy, I had to send pictures and complain. I would never deal with this company again, the hassle of my time and energy to have the job fixed took forever, the communication was horrible! Also the whole rebate application with fortis is online now, and trying to get all the details to complete the online form from the company was very disorganized and tedious. I complained to the owner at the Burnaby location and his response was "I have spoke to Kris and we as a team could have served you better, my apologies" He then went on to say I had to contact Technical Safety BC to request an inspection, when I called them, they said no the homeowner does not contact us, I sent two other emails to the owner with no reply. The admin person from the office finally responded that is is taken care of now. This was totally unprofessional, from start to finish, frustrating and poorly handled, I would recommend going to another company! I did not get value/service for my money and it was very pricey.
spoke to babar or brar. over the phone to order a part. sounded like he just got out of bed and was in a bad mood. tried his best to demotivate me from ordering the part. and also spent 1 minute explaining he cant recieve photos through text, and when i offered email, he cut me off again saying "listen to me okay?" and again tried to deter me from buying through them by saying it will take at least 2 weeks. if you dont want to work, just close the damn store and say were closed due to covid.
