I have to say that all the Home Depot staff I have dealt with over the last 3 months, while doing my minor house renovation, have been awesome. Whatever the head quarters folks have done to emphasize customer service has worked very well.nnI mean not everything is perfect, some wrong parts recommendations for plumbing etc, but overall very good. There seems to be a staff member who is knowledgeable in their department in almost every isle.

In West Vancouver, BC, we did our flooring, kitchen, and blinds through Home Depot and were very satisfied with the results.nnWe are now renovating our home in Nanaimo, and at Home Depot Nanaimo we met Amir. Amir is highly skilled in kitchen design. He designed and managed the installation of our downstairs kitchen, and we are truly very happy with the result.nnFor our upstairs kitchen, Amir spent many hours working patiently and carefully to design exactly what we had in mind. I sincerely appreciate his dedication and professionalism, and I highly recommend him for renovation projects and kitchen design.

Julie the Manager at this store has the most incredible customer service skills in all of retail. She is the reason we will continue to shop at Home Depot. When we were completely lost in your “on line customer service “ and getting no where, Julie came to our rescue. She helped us navigate the system so that we could replace our broken/dead LG refrigerator/freezer quickly. She responded to our calls quickly and with empathy. She even followed up with us AFTER the fridge was delivered!!! Julie should be teaching classes to ALL Home Depot staff, she knows what Customer Service is! I had to buy a dishwasher on short notice and Home Depot was my first stop. Emil was quick to offer assistance. He steered me from my first choice, to my best choice. Free delivery and removal of the broken dishwasher was a nice feature. Excellent customer service!

They had what I needed at a fair price. The fella at the online order pick-up counter was friendly and inviting... but the woman working with him had the attitude of a werewolf reacting to broccoli for dinner for a month. Halloweem decor was awesome as usual! Exit doors don't have the same thrill without Hank and his smokies and handmade sauces, that man was a legend.
