Worry-Free Dining at the Airport!! I often travel for business out the gates near The Hearth. I eat have eaten here a few times and always have a worry-free experience. What I like about the Hearth is that they change up the menu every few months, so there are new items to try. On most visits, I'm seated quickly, the server comes to my table quickly and the food comes out fairly fast. I'm not always looking for Michelin Star quality when I'm travelling, just food that's good quality and of course tastes good. I have tried the burgers, the chicken sandwiches and salads, and always for the most part the food is pretty good. If you are at Terminal One and want something to eat before heading to the sometimes distant F-Gates then give the Hearth a shot. I haven't tried everything but so far I haven't eaten anything I didn't like, my advice is always with airport restaurants, stick to what you like and you should be okay. In terms of pricing, just like any other airport, the food costs are above average compared to restaurants outside an airport but on par with higher-priced hotel meals.
Easy, fuss free dining at the airport. I mean for an airport restaurant, they do a good job. Pretty standard menu with staples catering all food choices. Tried their fettuccine Alfredo and it was decent. They also have grab and go bar with cold sandwiches and yogurt parfaits for those in a rush.
A surprisingly great dining experience for an airport restaurant! Not a large menu, we ordered the lemon garlic shrimp, Montreal-style poutine, Greek salad, cheeseburger, brick chicken sandwich, and beer-battered fish and chips. Our server's were excellent! The food was surprisingly tasty and fulfilling. The cheeseburger and fish and chips were the best. The french fries weren't too salty and were perfectly seasoned. The plating could use a bit of work in my opinion, and I think the lemon garlic shrimp could use a bread on the side for dipping in butter sauce. The chicken sandwich was a bit bland and could benefit from a sauce other than just relying on the dry rub. Overall, great dining experience and I would order again.
I just started travelling for work, and this was the first place I went to on my first flight into the US. They offer quick, worry free, relatively affordable dining right outside of the F-Gate for security. The food was actually pretty solid, and the service was great. I would highly recommend this spot for breakfast or a quick meal before you hop on the plane. I would definitely recommend this spot!
This airport restaurant has a rather elegant and upscale feel to the menu and plating and I was quite impressed with how this meal succeeded within the limitations of an airport gate restaurant. I was pleased to see that there was a selection of 4 different ciders to choose from many places have only 1 or none and the poutine I ordered was well made and delicious. The meatballs with garlic bread were also great, and the dollop of ricotta and the angled cut and well toasted and buttered garlic bread were better than I expected at an airport.
A great place for a meal at the airport! We arrived at 6am and had a delicious breakfast while waiting for our flight. Service was quick and very friendly, and the food was delicious. Exactly what you want after you've made the long trek through security and customs. Lynn Crawford has definitely outdone herself at this restaurant!Food: 5/5
One of the only options for a quick dinner before my flight in this area. The food was decent, nothing special, but fills you up. The staff was super friendly. It was pretty crowded around 6PM.
Very good food here and great service. We had Brick Chicken Sandwich, Fist and Chips and Chesseburger. Especially the starter - Lemon Garlic Shrimp- was delicious.
Food 5* Service 5* Vibe 4* Well, I now have a favorite place to eat at the Toronto YYZ airport. The fish and chips were delicious, and their burger as well. Our server was great and a very friendly elder man. Can't go wrong to spend some time and eat a delicious meal while you wait for your flight.
This is a good place to grab a meal before a flight. We has time to kill so tje slow service was perfect. The flatbreads were great and the hummus was pretty good too.
