This was really good, especially considering it is an airport. Food was tasty, came and service was friendly. It took a bit of a time for a food and drinks to arrive, and it was the place was fairly empty, so just keep in mind when allocating for time.
I come here every time I have a gate nearby. Drinks are lovely, waitresses are funny and kind. They didn’t have the food I wanted I had a sweet tooth on this specific day and ordered a pie and so they asked if they could surprise me with something else, and whipped up some waffles and fruit in its place. I was very, very happy with this lol.
Love the idea! You order at the tablet, comes to your table within minutes! Friendly service, great food! Coffee is great too!
The concept is interesting: you order from a tablet that has the menu, you pay at your table with card, and can also charge your laptop/phone while eating. However, the food is far from what they show you in the menu it just looks bad and nothing like in the photos. The place is also quite filthy, especially the floor not sure why anyone would opt for wall-to-wall carpeting in an airport restaurant, because it sounds like a recipe for health hazard. The legs of the tables the metal part that anchors the tables to the floor look like they've never been cleaned, and many tables had leftovers from previous guests on them. Good and regular cleaning would make this restaurant worth 4 out of 5 stars, and a fairly decent stop for layovers.
TL;DR: very slow, don’t go if you have a flight to catch within 1.5 hours… Longer version: Really slow, especially for an airport where many people are on a tight time schedule. I thankfully had time, but it took 25 mins to just to get a latte and took nearly 50 mins to get my actual breakfast. Those are really long times… if I didn’t have lots of buffer, no doubt I would have had to jump / miss the meal to make my flight. Oh and at one point, I asked for a water… took 30 mins and me reflagging someone to actually get it. Feels like this place is understaffed or doesn’t have enough kitchen capacity.
They had decent food. Service was fast and efficient.
This was honestly one of the best airport dining experiences I've ever had which is admittedly a low bar. The herb chicken flatbread was soft and flavorful. The drink prices were on par with, or even slightly cheaper than, some downtown bars, which, for an airport, is about as good as I can ask for. The ordering is done on tablets, and while it wasn't exactly peak hours Monday afternoon, everything came pretty quickly. Considering I normally resign myself to mediocrity when I'm at an airport, this far exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be back if my gate is in the same area again.
Delicious goat cheese omelette with peppers and ham. 9/10 recommend if you’re at Pearson early AM.
Great place to wait for your flight. iPad to order and credit card machine to pay at every table. A bit pricey but that's to be expected at airports.
For Canada supposed to be such a friendly but my experience from Keith behind the bar was less the friendly. Terrible customer service so rude. Maybe having a food voucher is inconvenient for you but maybe think about the people traveling for more than 40 hours to get home after 3 years. I worked in customer service for several years and his behaviors isn't acceptable.
