I ordered a flight of lobster rolls and seafood mix shrimp roll, crab roll and lobster. I also ordered 2 drinks and “free pickles”. Based on my pic of my food note k had another tray of rolls that were the mixed seafood rolls, it is pretty interesting that the rolls are basically cut in half and yes they stack the lobster etc based on what size you get but coming out paying 115 “plus tip”, come on this seems a bit much. Yes I have eaten lobster rolls many places and the price point vs quality / quantity is a mismatch. Customer service is good. Bottom line, good but expect to pay more than what your getting.
Absolutely delicious. I can't believe I finally had my first Lobster roll! I was so lucky to find this place since I have a wheat allergy and they had gluten friendly rolls as well as gluten free Lobster Bisque! Definitely recommend. Friendly and very informative staff too!
The customer service was AMAZING. We were treated with kindness and were served a delicious dinner by Tyrone and Eric. I definitely recommend the trio with crab, lobster and shrimp, but I am convinced that anything on the butter bread used can be delicious. Well done!
We went there for brunch on a week day. We arrived kind of early right after they opened, they so weren’t very busy. I ordered Luke’s trio plus Lobster Bisque, and it only took a few minutes for the food to be ready. The lobster roll was fresh and delicious, and I really didn’t expect that there were large pieces of lobster meat in the bisque! Of course the shrimp roll and crab are also good! Will definitely come back for a large lobster roll!
This place was awesome! The manager of this store was great. We were first time diners and he explained everything. Very personable. The lobster was great. I suggest the trio, lobster roll, crab roll and shrimp roll. Large chunks of lobster in the lobster bisque. We will visit this place every time we come to Chicago. I would give this a 10 out of 5 if I could. Great!
Friendly, fast service. I got the lobster roll flight which consisted of a 2oz sized rolls of the spicy honey butter, truffle, and their original one. Could not eat it slow enough; it was so good. It hits the spot if lobster is what you’re craving.
I had been wanting to try this place for a while as I work around here and see the signs all the time. I knew going in that the prices were high but what surprised me was the tiny portions. The photos on the sign and even on here are misleading as far as portion size go. The photos show three normal sized rolls but the size was more like half a sandwich slice folded up. Paying 30$ for three 1.5” rolls was just too much for me. The taste was just ok so that doesn’t justify the price. I’m not going back and I would not recommend this place to anyone sincerely.
My ratings start with a 3-star so this rating means that this place is above average to me and I am likely to return. Staff was great, and ticket time was not long. Pricing is probably scary but hey it’s lobster! Food quality is great.
Firstly, these are not cheap rolls, but having said that, this is some of the best lobster rolls ive ever had. I recommend the flight if you want to try several specialty rolls. The classic lemon butter cold was excellent, as expected. The spicy mala had that curry heat and smokiness which was very good. But my favorite was the truffle lobster roll butter is infused with truffle oil. Ill definitely get a full roll of the truffle lobster roll next time, but the 3 mini-rolls are full of lobster, they did not skimp on the 2oz portion for each mini. It was actually quite filling and comes with chips.
Tasty food at a reasonable price. I needed to get lunch quick before heading to the airport and didn’t want to settle for a burger or a sandwich so this was just perfect. Ty was extremely welcoming and helpful.Recommended dishesLobster Bisque, Lobster Roll
