RPM Seafood

I and my friend decided to try the RPM seafood. Was it an ordinary Tuesday in December 2022 We had a beautiful reservation next to the window with a river view, excellent. Waiter Vladimir was well-groomed, knowledgeable very polite. We had their bread, which looked like a cake, delicious but not free, affordable at $13, Cesar salad with anchovies, very salty Then grass feed beef rib eye steak, which we couldn't eat, was extraordinarily salty with French fries also salty. The manager was so nice, that he took out the rib eye steak from our bill. The Desert was good. Overall the experience and the ambiance were nice. A little bit too noisy for me, but I still liked it. That night the chef might be in love because everything was over-salty. Created a salty memory:

Came for a mid afternoon seafood snack by the river and it was everything we needed on a beautiful Chicago day. The restaurant is away from madness of the patios right by the water, but it's even better than those patios. We had delicious strong drinks, the service was attentive and the seafood fresh. Would definitely come back!

Seafood lovers rejoice! RPM Seafood’s menu is stuffed to the gills with fresh seafood. The restaurant also has a large heated patio that overlooks the Chicago river and skyline. For food I’d recommend the ceviche and the lobster However, you can’t go wrong no matter what you order. I would have loved to give 5-stars but we had a minor incident with the staff when we first arrived.

RPM does it again. If you're looking for great tasting food with one of the best seats in the city, go here. Sat in the outdoor seating along the river and loved it. The wine selection is excellent. Started with the west coast oysters which were delicious as well as the RPM Clam Chowder which is quite large FYI. Had the Maine Tempura Lobster as my main which was excellent and sampled a bite of my wife's Charcoal Grilled Black Bass which was very good. Order a side of the Whipped Potatoes and thank my later. Finished the night with the Banana Cream Napoleon which, like everything I've mentioned here, was excellent. The only issue was the time to get food / service was long. Not sure if they were understaffed but it was noticable. Kid-friendliness: No kids menu at all Parking: They have valet Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely for indoor dining, not sure how easy it would be on the patio

Such an elegant place. My server was on point which made the experience that much better. The food...bit on the salty side. The salmon crude was way too salty and the side dish of mushrooms gotten was salty as well. The tuna was cooked to liking. The pumpkin creme brulee is a definite must get! It's not too sweet and hits your palate the way a dessert should.

We are big fans of RPM Steak. First time at seafood and it did not disappoint. From the host, to our waiter, and the food. Everything was great. The atmosphere was so relaxing and with the windows open to the river, it was so nice and beautiful.

Was really excited to try this place, we tried their Chicago restaurant week menu, ordered the salmon and the mussels entree. It was a huge disappointment. The food tasted like it was just submerged in butter with no taste. Dessert was not great. The best thing I had was the drink and the restaurant has a nice vibe. Especially for the cost, it was one of the most disappointing dinner.

Amazing seafood restaurant. It was our first time visiting this restaurant and we were happy we decided to visit this place after researching bunch of places near river walk. Food and service both were top class. Staff was courteous and patient. All the food items were delicious. My favorite was char grilled bass. Everyone in the party loved their food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Chicago and craving for seafood.

We had a wonderful dinner there last night. We sat outside in one of the greenhouses which had a great view of the river. As someone from Florida who doesn't do cold, I was worried about the temperature outdoors, but great news, they are heated. The seafood tower was insane. Then we had a variety of fish dishes with Brussel sprouts, potatoes with the Greek yogurt sauce. Our waiter, Kevin, was attentive, nice and great to our group! We will be back.

Great seafood. Delicious entrees. Nice presentation. Delicious cocktails. Hard to give descriptions when the seafood is raw - high quality seafood speaks for itself and RPM has it.
