About

"Well that's an interesting name!"

Located in the historic ASARCO building on Bank Street in downtown Wallace, ID. Bank Street was recently named one of the Top 10 Most Beautiful Main Streets in America.

Story

Don't let the rural reference fool you....we serve some of the best European, new world and regional wines, craft beers and ciders. We offer a delectable menu of tapas style small plates created by our very talented executive chef. The menu changes seasonally to ensure you are served only the freshest ingredients as we also consider our food and wine to be a part of the art in this space. The urban style interior has been designed with reclaimed, reused and repurposed materials with a focus on industrial salvage. All tables and seating areas have been handcrafted by the owner himself and the whole venue is an artistic experience to be enjoyed.

Enjoy sampling wines from regions all over the world with our 16 bottle Enomatic wine dispenser, a favorite hobby of wine enthusiasts! We also offer a Wine of the Month Club and an intimate monthly dinner club with exciting custom menus and wine pairings.

We are a wonderful destination location in the Inland Northwest....you're always on holiday when you're at "The Goat" so stop over!

A delectable gem in the middle of historical Wallace. Ask for a courtyard table if they are available. The food was presented well and tasted delicious. And the wine machines are a great way to try a variety of wines. The staff were so friendly and not at all in a rush. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

This is a hidden gem! The owner is amazing and let us taste various beers. The wait staff was friendly and down to earth. My wife and I were just passing through and so glad we found it. A Couple needing a true get away from reality should try Wallace and definitely stop at The Fainting Goat for brews and great food!

Nice staff, great space. We had drinks as we caught them late on a Sunday afternoon and the kitchen was closed.

A great little patio area with a forest on the back side. The wrought iron table was cozy and worked well for our couple dinner. The waitress was helpful and very polite. Our salads were stellar and full of flavor.
