The Charmant Hotel

Just returned from our anniversary meal. Wonderful food. Appetizers to dessert were top notch. Every morsel was as advertised.nnService is what we remembered from days of old. kudos to Nick our waiter. A true professional. The perfect balance of attentiveness and space. Asked all the right questions and his timing was perfect.

This place is great. Helpful attentive staff to hear care of us.nnIt's an awesome place to stay.nnExtra clean.nnRestaurant and bar are really good. Bar stays open later than most hotels in the area.nnIt's within walking distance of the convention center and downtown.nnShout out to Cassy, who helped make our visit special.nnI highly recommend this hotel, especially after hearing out friends nightmare at another local hotel this weekend.

I have stayed at the Charmant once a year for the past five or six years. It never disappoints! The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar have excellent food and drinks in addition to good service. The Charmant is an ideal spot for a couples getaway or to celebrate a special occasion. Five stars!

The hotel is lovely. The rooms are not designed for hanging out in, so plan on getting out and exploring. There is parking within walking distance, but a parking lot for the hotel would be better. The only disappointment for me was the coffee shop, I just didn't like their coffee.

The biggest asset of this beautiful repurpose of a historical candy factory in downtown LaCrosse is the wonderful staff. Everyone genuinely friendly and concerned about the customer. Also the short walk to Riverfront Park. Food was excellent also. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, definitely worth the stay.
