The Brixton

Tonight we dined at The Brixton for my birthday. There was lots of free parking on the street and we got a nice table close to the window. Service was excellent, food was delicious and beautifully plated, and the atmosphere was inviting and warm. The bathroom was clean and spacious. There is a gorgeous outdoor space as well. Prices were reasonable and it was a very enjoyable dining experience. Will go again!

The Brixton team recently catered a surprise retirement party for my parents and it was nothing short of amazing. Tam, Julia and their team were a dream to work with.nThe food was incredible, the service outstanding and the whole experience was 5 stars.nnIf you are having a private event and are looking to have it handled professionally, look no further. I have high standards- and they exceeded them.

The Brixton is leading Glace Bay's Renaissance, offering the finest dining, outshining Sydney's fare in both food quality and exemplary service.nI challenged the staff by completely underdressing for the occasion and the staff made not one snitty face or comment. Katie was especially gracious while serving my elderly Dad and my dear friend with special needs.nOur meals were spectacular. The menu changes with the seasons. I went here a couple of weeks ago and can say that hands down this was THE best spinach and artichoke dip I have ever had. And, from someone who has tasted great Cacio e Pepe in Rome, they did a damn good job on theirs! Loved the added touch of tiny bits of red onion in it.

Highly recommend this spot if visiting Cape Breton. The warm atmosphere, live outdoor music summer, and amazing food are well worth a stop for any traveller. Have been craving the food and cocktails since. May need to plan another trip just to eat here! So yummy.
