If you are looking for delicious halibut this is where you want to come. Came here with our rv w instead of home cooking we enjoyed two scrumptious halibut and chip dinners! It wasn’t even deep fried like I usually have , man it was good.
Three of us had dinner in the miner’s museum restaurant with a reservation. We arrived a little early but they had our table ready and graciously seated us. We order Caesar salad and seafood chowder. Amazing food. So delicious the best chowder ever. We had fish and chips and lobster cream waffle fries. The meals were too much but soo delicious. I would recommend this place for the variety of choices and great tasting dishes. The staff are friendly and very accommodating.
Order the haddock dinner, order the salmon dinner, order a club platter, it doesn't matter. Whatever your appetite desires, the food is excellent. Priced very well and the portions, quality, and the atmosphere are great. You won't leave hungry.
Well I'm kind of disappointed as the place had great reviews. I had the turkey dinner. It was dry and too meh. I was expecting more flavour but I had to drizzle the entire cranberry sauce all over it to give it flavour. My momhad be wings and ribs. The chicken was fantastic. The ribs were dull and did not fall off the bone though texture wise. The place is beautiful and has a great location close to the mine museum but it did not meet my expectations of a 4+ place.
The best seafood chowder. The food was excellent from soup to dessert. Great atmosphere and service. Don’t miss this.
Food was delicious, tasted like a home cooked meal. The staff were great and the atmosphere was very cozy.

Delicious food every time! Service was great! I love that instead of regular bread service, they bring oatcakes and tea biscuits. We love coming here.
