The Boathouse Restaurant

This is our second time dining in here, and we got so lucky to have Helen as our server again! She is amazing, very friendly, professional and offered excellent service. The food always tastes amazing and delicious. The cocktails are amazing and the atmosphere is ok on the floor that we were at. We’d like to try the patio upstairs next, maybe we’ll get an amazing view. Overall it’s a fabulous place to dine in and we absolutely look forward to our next visit. Hopefully Helen will be our server again!

I recently dined at the Boathouse in White Rock, and my experience was mixed. The starters were enjoyable, and the drinks were spot on – exactly what you'd hope for at a nice seaside restaurant. However, the mains fell short. While the dish itself was okay, the fried rice was a disappointment; it was underwhelming, though still somewhat passable. The biggest issue was the service time – our food took far too long, especially considering the restaurant was nearly empty. This really impacted the overall experience. On a positive note, the server was fantastic, attentive, and friendly, even though I can’t recall her name. Overall, the visit had its highlights but could use improvements in both food quality and kitchen timing

Fantastic seaside restaurant. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, great menu, and friendly service.nnWe tried the mussels, oysters, and ahi tuna tacos. The tacos were my favourite: crisp and light, savory and satisfying. Fantastic on their own.nnThe mussels and oysters were exactly as we hoped they would be. I'd definitely order them again.

Came here for New year’s day dinner with my family, and Keith was our server. Not only were the beef short ribs and lobster and shrimp carbonara incredibly tasty, but the service was top notch. Keith was super attentive and provided excellent service and made our experience super smooth. Will definitely be back for more :

Nice and fresh food choices. Our server was OK. She was just a little bit slow, but ok. It was my bday, and I enjoyed my food choices.
