I don't recall getting the waitresses name but she was perfect! We had dinner at 5:30 PM on Saturday.nThe soup of the day was delicious. The salmon was amazing.nThe coconut cream pie was insanely light, creamy and decadentnnThe brushetta was the best I've ever had.nnWe'll be back!!nThank you so much.

About an hour from Ottawa and well worth the drive. The food is excellent, as is the service, and the portions are more than ample. We had the salmon wrap with salad this time ... delicious! Great place !!

We've heard lots of good things about this place. Did it live up to the hype? 100%. Food was amazing, service was great accommodated us even though the place was full. Flawless experience! Well done!!

This is some of the best food around. Delicious and filling salad, best cheese cake around. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu. Love the ambience. Small restaurant but tables are spaced out well enough to feel spacious. Service was fast and friendly.

A gourmet menu in an unexpected location. Set in a small but charming old general store, the Blackbird has a rich and interesting menu with items far from the local fare, expertly prepared and presented. I would have given five stars across the board except for an unnecessary delay in getting our bill at the end. Other than that, the service was superb as well. Highly recommended for great dining.
