We are a live music venue! For over 50 years, the Biltmore has been a fixture in the community as a platform for ground-breaking musical performances.

Story

With the revitalization of historic Mount Pleasant, the bar was reopened in 2007 as The Biltmore Cabaret, with a fresh focus to recapture its musical tradition. Drawing from the rich local scene in Vancouver as well as the best in Canadian and international touring acts, The Biltmore Cabaret showcases talent from across a wide spectrum of music and the arts.

I love this place. I’ve come here many times, but most recently came because I won tickets to Anyway Gang from the Fox. Great Canadian supergroup by the way I didn’t know them but I had a blast, and that IMO has a lot to do with the venue. I love it, it makes the show feel personal. They were incredible, but you get to be so close and interact. That’s the beauty of the Biltmore Cabaret. If you can, check it out. If you don’t love it, you might be wrong
Such a unique and lovely place! Saw William Fitzsimmons and Stuart Smith perform to a small intimate crowd and it was beautiful. The staff are nice, esp Luna the barkeep!

Really awesome close knit venue. I wanted to read it three or four stars because the bar lines are so long and they take a long time to pour drinks. However, they let you order as many drinks as you want at a time, so that makes up for it.
I had the pleasure of seeing Counterparts, SYSC, and Dying Wish here on November 24. I was really impressed with the sound quality, and how cool the atmosphere was at the venue. I was however slightly unimpressed with the stage diving at the show, and the lack of enforcement to stop people from doing it... I had somebody drop on my head hurting my neck, knocking off my hat and glasses, the latter being completely destroyed. My glasses were very expensive, with prescription, blue light, and transitions lenses gone to hell. There was signage stating that was prohibited behavior, but nobody seemed to care. Great show, but I will most likely be remembering the bill for replacing my glasses more than the event. 10/10 will leave my glasses in my care at future hardcore shows, lol.
Great place to see bands is a very cool little venue. Sounds was pretty good and you could move around the venue easily. Lighting was fine and layout is spot on. Also has retro pin ball machines and free water dispenser. Was a very reasonable ticket price $13 also I came to see a band called Actors here and wasn't dissapointed I I look forward to coming back.
Awesome little dive bar cabaret. Love so much about it: love the Vancouver Special Basement rec room vibe, love the Terminator 2 arcade console, love the pinball machines, love the reasonably priced beer, and especially love that they take Square at the bar. Would absolutely see another show there!
We were here on Sat March 5 to attend the Comedy Here Often? Presents: Marito Lopez. The Biltmore is a bit hidden but very cool place once inside. As per google description of the place, 100% agree and can confirm that it is an eclectic haunt for holding entertainment shows of various kinds. The staff and bartenders were very friendly and approachable. Loved that there was a water fountain dispenser with paper cups avaliable on the side if one has had too many. We sat comfortably and didn't feel too crowded as the Biltmore spaced out the tables pretty well. Washrooms were clean and simple. A detail that I really liked about the Biltmore is that they are respectful and considerate to the residential area on Prince Edward St regarding noise levels. Instead of leaving towards where we initially came in, we were guided by staff and signage to take the Kinsgway St. exit. Check it out. It is a cool and fun local place. We had a great night of laughs!
Fun night... Great venue for a concert. We sat on the Speaker hubs and had a front row seat to two amazing bands!
