Amazing staff, all very friendly and approachable, with great senses of humour. The prices are more than fair, and they accept/encourage food bank donations in lieu of the cover charge for the board games. Speaking of the board games, there's a broad selection; plus they have a little comic book/manga library. The food is amazing with everything being made fresh by the owner. It's just overall a great atmosphere, be it for meeting with friends to play a board game, date nights to break the ice, or even get a spot of studying done with a victory drink when you're done. Really brilliant place. Food was great and freshly made guacamole is always wonderful. Fantastic selection of board games, a great attitude on serving all of Brantford and local beers. And you can satisfy all your comic book needs! Can't ask for more.

Great place to game owned by some nice local dudes. Board games to play or bring your own cards magic or otherwise Buy some food and play all night no extra cost! Free refills on pop too... Well worth the visit. Highly recommend the garlic bread, also the chicken caesar wrap was unreal. Everything made fresh in house and it shows.

This place is amazing. The inside of the bented king has a classical room feel that updated to meet the demands of the people. The food is just as good as the board games they have for everyone to use and play with. If you want a good time with fantastic food, come here. You won't be disappointed!

The Bent King is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon enjoying a great variety of games, comics, food, and drinks. The staff are outstandingly kind, approachable, and helpful. There's lots of space with very large wooden tables to accommodate lots of people and many types of games. There's also a good selection of games, comics, and other items for sale. If you're looking for something fun to do in Brantford at a reasonable price, you should definitely check The Bent King out!

Decent selection of comics. I got to introduce my boys to this media that I stopped reading long ago. The attached restaurant/board game room is a unique idea. I can't comment on the food as we never ordered any, but the staff was very friendly and willing to assist with what we inquired about.

Absolutely spectacular. Huge selection of games, great food at reasonable prices, amazing staff, and the creme brulee is to die for! With their new drink menu, I hope that the Bent King will see thriving business for years to come. They certainly deserve it!

Warm and inviting atmosphere, and an active owner who really cares that you enjoy your time there! Staff are so friendly! Our writing group was welcomed in, and the food was fantastic! I can't say enough good things! The only thing I might like to see is more coffee options.

Had an incredible experience. There is a good selection of games and the food was delicious! You can tell that the owners have out in a lot of work in regards to the space as well. Will definitely be going back and plan to introduce others to it as well.
