Great experience at TELUS World of Science. They have the most engaging rooms I have ever seen. Every hallway and room was filled with hands on learning and thinking activities. They have live demonstration, skills labs, and science labs. The have open areas with microscopes, a science lab with physics activities, and hallways with brain games.nnTheir IMAX and Ziegler Dome were also awesome. We watched a show on planets in the Ziegler Done - great for kids and preteens.nnThere was also a dinosaur Jurassic Park Lego exhibit where you got to build different activities. It was fun and looked cool. Had a Lego Jeep you could sit in with a dinosaur behind you.
We absolutely loved this place. I’ve taken my children to science museums in Vancouver, Seattle, and Toronto, and honestly, this one stands out as the best so far.nnIt may not be the largest, but it is by far the most engaging for kids. The attention to detail is impressive — from the simulated security screening equipment to the airplane cockpit experience and the incredibly realistic cabin with a glowing fireplace. These immersive setups kept my children fascinated for hours.nnThere are multiple themed galleries covering topics like medicine, biology, and more, and each space feels thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity. You can truly feel the care put into creating interactive, meaningful experiences.nnFor us, this has been the most memorable science centre we’ve visited. Highly recommended for families.
We have been to TELUS World of Science Edmonton countless times and have always enjoyed our visits. I have been bringing my kids since they were toddlers, and now that they are tweens, we all still genuinely enjoy coming back.nnThere are always changes, updates, and new things to see and do, which keeps it feeling fresh even after many visits. We personally prefer going during quieter times with fewer crowds. If crowds do not bother you, any time works well. If you do mind crowds, it is worth checking their busy times, as it can get extremely busy, chaotic, and very loud.nnThe Zeidler Dome is always a hit, regardless of what is playing. Be sure to check the schedule in advance. Some shows are free to walk into, while others require tickets.nnThe gift shop consistently has great items for both kids and adults, and the staff are always friendly, engaging, and fun.nnOverall, it's a fun place to visit as a family.
Ive been coming here ever since I was a kid 30+ years ago. Im loving bringing my kids here to relive the experience as a dad. We came to see the Brickman Jurassic Park exhibit. That was pretty wild I and the kids all loved it!
Our family’s first time to visit science world, loved how great the different type of activities setting indoor to show people how science work. Curious city was amazing, our kids love it so much. IMAX experienced was fantastic, we watched the rocket mountain express, music was wonderful. Staffs were super friendly and helpful.
