I really enjoyed my time here. It was great to be able to walk through the historical buildings and interact with the actors. A very immersive environment on a grand scale. I also stayed in the hotel on-site which was quite nice. The hotel itself isn't very historic and the staff are pretty standard hotel staff. Still good though. I would definitely go again if I'm back this way.

Went here last summer as part of our family vacation for the first time. I brought my 2 toddlers. We had a wonderful experience!! There is so much to do! This park is huge. Be expected to spend all day at this park from opening till close if you want to go through it all. It was awesome to take the old train to the actual fort and also ride the old town train. The fort is huge and has lots of open places to explore. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I love how everyone is dressed up as pioneers! The old carnival was so cool to show the kids! All in all a wonderful experience!!

I love going here every year with my family.I even got married here. It's always a great way to spend time with the kids while we go and explore what life was like when Edmonton was just a small little village. Its a fun interactive way for the kids and adults to learn about our history. Buy a season pass you won't regret it!

We had our wedding at Fort Edmonton Park, and it was absolutely wonderful. Event coordination staff were great, they listened and answered all my questions and helped me set up the perfect day. The event itself went smoothly, the staff throughout the day were very friendly and helpful, always making sure we had help and everything we needed. Food was delicious, deserts were amazing. We stayed at the Hotel Selkirk which was wonderful as well, nice rooms, great staff. The cost of the event was perfect, not expensive, we paid extra for a few things and it was all definitely worth the price. I would recommend anyone planning an event to have it here :)

Beautiful location, nice preservation of buildings and transports. The train is excellent! Every child in Edmonton and and the surrounding area should spend a thoughtful day or two here. It is a good time to reflect on how people lived at different times in Alberta.
