Its a nice provincial historic building to visit on a rainy day or in the winter. They have a very nice and cozy historic-feel cafeteria inside where you can also book a table for a special function or a date. The building itself features main room, girl and a boy old kids room, maid room and library / living room on the bottom floor. Its the home of the first Premier of Alberta so its nice to see how it was built, how people dressed and lived in the higher societies. There is a little gift shop in the basement area with cool old-style wooden toys that wont break your budget and your kids/toddlers will love. They offer special program throughout the year but have to visit their website to find out about them. This includes winter / christmas special events, Easter bunny, etc. They have very nice staff and of course keep the place clean and informative. If you park in front and enter your license plate number you do not have to pay for parking. There are only few spots so on busy days you gotta get lucky but its always better to try as there are very few free parking spots in the area as this is close to downtown and the university parking lot.

Lovely, charming historic home. My absolute favourite visit was for a roaming production of Much Ado About Nothing by a local theatre group.
