Tdot Jerk

Definitely one of the best jerk places I've been to in Toronto! It's a tiny spot with little seating and no a/c unfortunately, so we ordered for takeout instead. Staff was very friendly and even offered us a sample of the meat and hot sauce which was a delicious combination. Several more customers ordered after us and it seemed the one guy working there prepared all the food at once which took forever. I'm sure we waited at least 35 minutes before we got the food but let me tell you.. it was worth the wait. The good guy had really packed the containers full of meat, rice, gravy and coleslaw and gave us extra hot sauce on the side. The jerk pork was juicy and incredibly flavorful. Everything combined the meal was fantastic enough for two meals even!! Drinks were ice cold as well, always a good sign in any restaurant! Loved every single bite of it and will definitely come again!!

Delicious jerk chicken, very juicy. Curry goat is delicious and goes well with this fresh tasting coleslaw. Their hot sauce are amazing. I bought a bottle home and very excited to put it on my meals. I will go again!

Finally stopped by for the lunch special - ordered the jerk chicken and it was amazing! Nothing was dry and perfect portions for lunch- no complaints - $6.99!

This is the best jerk chicken joint in town. I wish I could give it 10 STARS! :D But there is so much more wonderful items on the menu like roti, fish with OKRA, and so much more. Junior, the owner, is a gem! He is such a nice, funny, extremely professional and very clean. You get some free wisdom with your meal it’d you sit down and talk to him! Always a pleasure, Great location by the lake. He also makes his own Carolina Reaper hot sauce from the peppers grown in his backyard. This place is legit best thing in Toronto, what are you waiting for? Go get your soul food! :D

You might not guess it from the outside, but in there, lies some of the best jerk chicken south of Eglinton! Real, smokey, Jerk Drum grilled chicken! The hot sauce doesn’t mess around either, so careful what you wish for. The large is totally worth it, as it comes with an extra thigh in there! But it’ll be too much food for one sitting, so only get it if you’re cool with carrying your leftovers home.

I popped in here at lunchtime as I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this place. WOW it lived up to the hype. I got the small jerk chicken plate and everything about it was perfection. The chicken was juicy and the coleslaw was very fresh and flavorful. I cleaned the plate off. The employees were very friendly too. This place will definitely be making my regular lunch rotation!

Amazing jerk chicken, might be the best I’ve had in Toronto. Intensely smokey and tender without being overly sweet. Rice n’ peas, and vinegar based slaw are a highlight as well. The tangy coleslaw is sharp and cuts your palette, resetting it for your next bite of jerk. It’s chopped length wise for that great texture along with flavor. 10/10
