Food, Vibes, and Customer service were all spot on! Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu

Very discreet place with surprisingly great food. Unfortunately when we visited the restaurant was hosting an event so we couldn’t sit inside but thankfully it was a nice enough day to sit outside and still be able to enjoy the food. Our favourite was definitely the chicken sandwich, it was super flavourful and not dry at all. The biggest flaw was the fact that we got our drink served in a dirty glass, but our server tried to make the moment right by not charging us for our drink. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

One of the best chicken waffles I’ve ever had in my life!

Had a great time celebrating my birthday here! Planning went smoothly with Shanelle as she asked about every little detail making sure the night was personalized. I had the wings and Cajun shrimp pasta which was delicious. More importantly the drinks taste GOOD. Thanks you to Neeti! Stayed to jam with the DJ too! Great service, good food, good drinks, good music, excellent vibes!

Had the jerk chicken quesdilla, beef silders, and shrimp/chicken mac and cheese. All were flavorful. The service was great and the vibe was nice. Music was great. Food came out hot which is rare these days. We appreciated the service we got from our server. She was attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back. We even talked about going later in the evening to experience the restaurant when it was much more busy and with live music. Would definitely recommend even if just for takeout.

The only reason I don't give FAM a 5/5 is because I came on a night where live music wasn't being played. As a result, I'll definitely come back on a night they do to give them a well-deserved "5". The food was fantastic and the hostesses were great! The Cajun shrimp was more than delicious, it was memorable. Will definitely return to try other things on the menu.

Love the look of the restaurant and the music set such a good vibe for us while we ate. The food was really good and flavourful. It was also fun to play some games they have on the table while you wait for your order. Looking forward to checking out the Sunday brunch party they put in every so often. Great restaurant if your looking for food music and a bit of entertainment. I went there last Friday with my girls the waiter was extremely nice and very entertaining. She stayed informative on what we wanted and didn’t want, and we ordered the calamari appetizer, the tacos and the chicken waffles. I personally enjoyed myself the music could have a been a bit better but the Atmosphere was good. I went around 7:00pm and it was low key clean and fun. #FreeTorontoFoods

One of the only fully black owned restaurant/bar in the area. The food is delicious. S/o to Chef Lloyd!!! The bartenders were great too. There's a neighborhood vibe that is welcoming and eclectic. The DJ on Friday nights was also a vibe. Our 1st visit and we had such a great time. If definitely go back!!!

We were walking on Queen and heard music playing here which attracted us to try it out. The vibe felt right from the start. Service met expectations on being attentive and the highlight of our experience was the food and drinks! From first bites of the creole crab cakes, we could taste the attention to detail in flavours. We also ordered the jerk chicken linguine and cajun shrimp linguine and they were also both delicious. I liked how the chef wasn’t shy on the spice level when I asked for spicy. Cocktails were great too. This was one of my favourite overall restaurant experiences during my stay in Toronto.
