TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

TD / MBNA is an absolutely trash company. Always end up waiting 3+ hours for a support call to be answered, just to have the automated system say no one is available and hang up, after wasting 3 hours of my time. Basically criminal negligence at this point as you simply cannot get support via phone.

I was helped by an individual there named Blake. Blake was extremely helpful and was able to answer every question I had. He went above and beyond, especially whenever I told him I had a flat tire. He simply picked up my car and walked me home and then gave me $40 to get a new tire. He was phenomenal in every aspect. He even gave me dating advice and helped me start a family. Will definitely be returning to this location and I will be recommending TD to all my friends and family. I know they'll have as great an experience as I did.

Had a horrible experience today at this branch and wasted my time. Came to pick up my credit card. When they called asking me to come, they didn't specify what documents they wanted. Anyway, after I came in, the employee who interacted me was quite rude and demanded 2 pieces of ID. After I showed her 2 pieces of government ID, she said they were not acceptable. After some more talking, another employee said that only 1 piece of ID was needed. So, the first employee essentially lied. One of the branch's employees had already verified my ID and address proofs on a previous day while applying for the card, and that employee was present while this ordeal happened.nTLDR: They don't provide proper communication, and essentially lie.

Locked me out 2 min before suppose to close at 5:58. My debit card just expired a few days ago and I needed to have a new one issued. Now I can't do any grocery or baby food till tomorrow. Will line up at food bank tonight and maybe they will have some baby formula. The Indian girl saw me come in a hurry, looked and quickly scrambled to lock me out even though I pointed out it's not 6pm yet. Not having the best of day and ending in a total disaster.

I came in this morning to close my accounts since I received a phone call saying I had an unused account that was about to be charged monthly fees I haven't used TD in 5 years now.nnOn the phone, I was told to visit a branch to get it resolved since I did not have my original card anymore.nnBoth employees on site this morning were completely unhelpful and wasted my time with endless questions and circular logic.nnI drove to a branch in Gatineau and they were *magically* able to take action and provide helpful information to resolve the problem.nnI can't recommend this branch for anything non trivial, the staff is either not trained properly or did not want to handle an account closure IMO.
