CIBC Branch with ATM

Be prepared to wait here for a good 20 minutes before getting to a teller. They always have only 2 tellers working. When I got to the teller, she asked me what happened to my cheque. I told her clearly it was ripped, hence why I came to the teller to manually do it as I know the automatic scanning ATM won't read it. She's like "you should've at least tried it"... I am sorry, was I making you do your job?

Only ONE lady, who serves me every time I deposit my pay, she is more than a teller, she is polite, she helps me 100% behond what I am there for, she always smiles, compared to all other males, tellers, I rater wait longer to be serve by someone who see's me as Mr...and not #864, I am more than a number at CIBC especially when they own my house until paid in full, I have no complaints ( over all ) about CIBC, except the maintenance of doors and cleanness is not properly maintained. I did tell the manager, many times, to fix or oil, the hinges on doors, to stop them from squeaking, was told maintenance staff does it, well in past two years, problem has been ignored, and doors still squeak loud when entering or exiting from bank. I will bring my bottle of wd-40 and fix the squeak problem myself.

There was a long line with only one teller working. The branch manager was telling people to use the bank machine instead of getting someone els to hop on or hop on her self

In my opinion, this is the WORST bank to deal with in Ottawa. The attendants that work at the front are very nice. But if you’re unlucky enough to deal with the people who work in the affices (ex: financial advisers), you might as well take your money and burn it.

okay... I've seen a few complaints here in the reviews.. But here is the problem, I work nearby and so I go about twice a week. Around 2pm in the afternoon they may only have one person at the desk, but ive seen up to 3 people. You have to consider the services they provide for other things like loans and so on. not the few minutes of delay.. like maybe its good that they help you save thousands on loans and mortgages... they are good as well as the Billings Bridge location.
