As a previous reviewer mentioned, one star is probably too generous for this Branch. I had a personal account, a savings account and a business account there. The Branch started blocking my card because I changed business phone numbers and they couldn't validate me. They mistakenly escalated it to the Fraud department. Even though persons at the Branch assured the issue was taken care of, it never was. I spoke to at least 5 customer service agents and 5 fraud specialists, each time assuring me that it's all solved and apologizing for the inconvenience. The next day my card is blocked again, and the features of my online business account are unavailable. There seems to be little or no coordination between the fraud department and regular branches. The agents working there mean well but they are grossly under-trained and unaware of processes and operations. They also put me you on hold for 40+ minutes, and still don't solve your problem. For this single issue I probably spent 3+ hours on hold, and to this day it is not solved. Please do yourself a huge favor and do not do business with this Branch.
Stopped in one evening to get information on opening an account. The customer service was great that evening. The woman helping us was very polite and gave us a card to call and book an appointment. Unfortunately, the next time we stopped in, the woman who helped us, was rude, and refused to assist us in opening an account. I needed to deposit my pay check to the new account we had hoped to open. She indicated they do not deposit checks they don't recognize. I work for a legitimate firm, I am unsure how the bank operates when it comes to accounts and deposits, however, we found this highly unusual. This bank was recommended to us by a family friend. Disappointed.
If I didn't have to give even one star I wouldn't. I had a mortgage with them and decided to move into another home two summers ago. It meant an increase in mortgage but also an increase of the value of the home. I went elsewhere as they were not willing to take it on. They stole an early payout penalty from me despite the fact they were the ones to break our arrangement. I have been fighting for a year to get this refunded and the two managers I have dealt with were bullies in quasi polite way. Very condescending. Never allowing me to talk and in fact one gentleman yesterday acted like a child over talking me and refusing to let me speak. Their lack of customer care is atrocious and I would not recommend them at all. Total rudeness and arrogance. They acted like thugs and should never have charged me an early payout penalty as it wasn't me who wished to change institutions. Very disappointed in their terrible service.
Welcoming customer service at first, with quick and responsive advisors, in person and by email. Non-daily banking services, though, takes persistence to reach someone by phone, or just going in person. Bike rack inside tucked behind the receptionist's desk is an unexpected and nice feature.
The worst bank i've ever seen, no assistance, not professional at all. I've made a transfert it has been almost 2 months and nothing.
This is really ridiculous that the only extended hours are thursday until 8pm. It used to be open on saturday. This is very poor customer service... think of this most people who have money to put in the bank work from 9am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm. Opening it on saturday would really be helpful it is almost as if they do not care at all about their customers and only care that they get all this time off. Really not impressed with this financial institution anymore.
Extremely rude cashier refused to cash a government cheque issued by Desjardins. But not until after writing all over the back and wasting 30 minutes of my time.
Have always had a hard time with this financial institution in-general. Finally cancelled my card and terminated all services. Would not recommend.
A little cautions when you do go to the bank make sure you don't have a rookie where to.place like today I go to the bank I try redraw money but I been toll I have a driver license not a health card What a joke
