Tataki Sushi

This review is only for the torched spicy salmon roll. The staff told us that the pictures outside the restaurant are stock images only. That’s fine. It’s 3/5 as the torched sushi was mostly rice and there was too much mayo on the roll.

I tried placing order and there was a system error, called the owner to see what’s up and she didn’t speak English nor Japanese. She refused to help me place the order, just simply repeated herself 10 times that I need to place the order online which I did. I ended up had to order in person and she gave me some sushi, but seems like it was previously eaten. The fish smelled like rotten foot, and she did not honour the 20% discount. Such a disappointment, I will never visit again.

The best sushi I've tasted. I got the AK47 special roll, eel special roll, and spicy shrimp torch press.

I've had takeout 3 times and the quality is consistent. The sushi rice is well done and doesn't fall apart. My favourites are the torched spicy salmon, torched saba, and salmon avocado roll. I'm not a big fan of the special rolls so far but it's just personal preference.

Mediocre sushi. We ordered the party tray and torched sushi but found that there was too much rice and it was on the harder side. The quality of the sushi was average. There was also too much kewpie mayo on the torched sushi I think they use a cheaper brand of kewpie mayo. I would say Ai Sushi is better.

Def my top 5 sushi takeout places now. the attention to detail visually appealing to how the sushi is made and the quality is on point def coming back 10/10 did not disappoint

We have placed order 2 hours ago, through Uber Eats. Called the restaurant, it's very hard to understand what the lady was saying. Just wondering where is my food. Would I use Uber Eats again - No, would I ever order from this restaurant - no. Its complete disappointment.

I like this sushi: tasty and fresh.

Pleasantly surprised by this place, I've been craving torched press sushi and this really hit the spot! I usually don't leave reviews, but I want this place to survive so I can come back!

No flavour, sushi pieces were small overpriced. Decor was nice and clean
