Honestly, I don’t understand the negative reviews. I noticed most of the negative reviews are during Dinner. We came here during lunch and our server made all the difference. Estella, our server, was very attentive, helpful and genuinely kind. Now, the food review: Sushi rolls, well, let’s just say the “Yum Yum” roll left us saying “No, no”. Bananas in sushi? Not my thing. Mind you we didn’t try all the rolls cause we would be comatose at that point but man their grilled menu, those are delicious. You can’t go wrong. They have the soup, salad and dessert bar. It’s nice that you can add toppings yourself. A little green tea ice cream and add dash of red bean, is such a great way to end the meal. They also have a shaved ice machine with different syrups for you to add. Lunch Price: $28.99 per person. We asked if we would get a discount if we paid cash, instead she mentioned that you can get a VIP card for the year, and you’ll get a 10% discount plus free pop drinks. It added up to $56.49 for the year.
Place looks well organized. Staff are friendly. First two rounds orders were served quickly, although didn’t bring the number of salmon that we ordered. Had to wait a while to get the third order. Overall food tastes good and fresh. They added 15% tips automatically but told us so we won’t double tip. The cost is $103 for two people after tax and tips. We didn’t order any other drinks.
We drove by this place around 11am on Saturday while we were in Markham. Since we’re not familiar with the area, we checked Google reviews first and were a bit skeptical. But since we were hungry, we went inside anyway. The low star rating on Google is far from what we’ve experienced! This place deserves a higher rating- staff were nice & attentive, food had variety and was served freshly made/hot, restaurant was clean. We all left this place satisfied with our choice for lunch. Give this place a chance if you’re in the area. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian rolls, salads, veg tempura
Great service and delicious food! I was given a friendly notice that the allotted time for dinner is 1.5hrs... but my family went way past that and were not rushed out to pay the bill. It did not take long for the food to arrive! I thought the subsequent orders would take longer to come... but they didn't! Food was consistently delivered at a decent pace. The staff frequently came to our table to remove empty plates and provided extra napkins without us requesting. They were friendly and easy to get a hold of. Some notable dishes are chicken wings, steak teriyaki, beef tataki and okras - the rest are the usual AYCE quality. Would definitely come back again!
Very Fresh, Very Clean, Very Good Service! Simply Excellent was my Experience! Previous Google reviews turned me off and was almost scared to walk through the door... but I'm glad we did. This is probably one of the best AYCE Japanese location around town. I'm shockingly surprised how good this place is in contrast to the reviews they were receiving. Just goes to show one shouldn't always believe everything on the internet, sometimes you really must try & experience it for yourself. Will Recommend, and Will Come Back Soon!
Decent new Japanese AYCE restaurant. We went to Yang’s before it changed and wanted to give it a go. The selection is like most Japanese AYCE restaurants for lunch. The sushi had less rice which was good. Only took a few pictures. They have a salad bar. Dessert had ice cream, various puddings and shaved ice which was different and the kids loved. They had some hot dessert options like fried bananas which were nice. Service was good. Food came reasonably quickly. A table beside us did the dinner menu which looked better.
Amazing all you can eat Japanese restaurant!Service is friendly and professional. Food is delicious and beautiful. I was twice at this place, liked it a lot.Food: 5/5
Overall: a solid 4-4.5, would return again and feel comfortable recommending people to try. Favorite items: Apple smoked tuna, beef tataki, mango salad, duck sushi, ice slush station We went as a party of 8 on a Friday night, the restaurant was full but orderly. Food came fairly timely after ordering on an iPad. The presentation and the quality of the food exceeded my expectation of an ayce place. The seafood all felt fresh. There were items that were much smaller in portion than I expected but I actually prefer it this way so you can try a bite and decide if you wanted to order more instead of causing unnecessary food waste. Personally I also feel the heater was on a bit strong and also the bathroom felt slightly cramped but overall ambience was comfortable. Quite like the salad bar. The bill came out to ~$60/person after tax and tips Oct,2023.
Shashimi is very fresh fresher than others all you can eat, and hot food quality is above many other competitors in Richmond Hill / Markham. Most important is hygiene is one of the Best in the same category. Even presentation of food is good, means they prepare food with heart. Parking: Near main Street Too good pond
