Taipei Chin Yuan Pai Ku Fast Food

I was in the area and I decided to drop into Metro Square because it has been a while since I have visited the food court. My wife really wanted some Taiwanese classics. So what can remind you about Taiwan any more than a classic Pork Chop rice bento combo right? I got the #1 Pork Chop Rice & #9 Chicken Thigh Rice combo. The portions are plenty for the price. I found the service to be quick, helpful and courteous. So no issues here. The food was bang on. The taste, flavours and textures hits home. It feels like you are are back in Taiwan and hitting the night markets. I will come back for their famous beef noodle soup at a later date. Happy Eats everyone :-

Fast and convenient spot to get an authetic Taiwanese bento box. It doesn't taste AMAZING but sure hits the spot when you are craving for Taiwanese food. The rice was a little bit overcooked for my own liking but it's understandable since food is prepared in advance so there is barely any wait. The pork chop tasted similar to when I had it in Taiwan. I wouldn't mind visiting again and trying other dishes.

Try this place for the first time and surprised by the quality of the food. We've ordered their specialty pork chop and beef noodle, they tasted just like we ate in Taiwan! Pls. Keep the good work!

My favourite go to place for food when I’m alone. When other food courts have no one waiting this one always has a line, long or short. The food is great, especially .Ko.1, the house special, but I think the cashier can be a bit more friendly and approachable.

They are famous for their Taiwanese fried pork chop Bento Box and very tasty fast food located inside of Metro Square food court. However, the room for improvement the sole reason for not getting the 5 stars is these Ladies at the front really need to learn how to interact with customers in a respectful & courteous manner !

The pork and eggs are really nice. Don't really care about the offals that comes with on the side. Also the bone could be a bit much. That aside, it's awesome and I'd be sure to come back for more and to try other dishes.

Great Taiwanese food and well priced. One of my favourite things to get here is the beef noodle soup. I wasn’t expecting much from this place considering it’s just a food court stall, but WOW did it ever satisfy me! The broth was very authentic tasting bit oily but I didn’t mind, noodles were silky and had a great chew, and the meat was super tender. You can add the amount of hot peppers and pickled veggies to your liking. The best part was it was only $7.25! I mean.. what more can I ask?!

This is a classic OG spot. Their No. 1 pork chop rice is the must try. Big piece of tender pork chop that's fried without a batter, served with a hefty portion of rice, vegetables nappa and broccoli and some braised form tofu and a marinated egg. You can get it spicy which means they'll add a little pile of chopped red chilis. Cash only. Food comes out fast!!

The porkchop rice is their mainstay. The cabbage, tofu sides are worth a mention of their own. But what really is impressive is their beef noodles actually.

Pork chop is still delicious. However, price is going up and they don’t provide pickles any more.
