T & T Supermarket

Absolutely love this store! Love all the variety in imported products from Korea and China. Found some skin care gems!! The staff was super friendly and helpful, as well. They also do sell some things you can find at other grocery stores and for a better price.

To be honest it’s a pretty overwhelming store and checkout lines can be long, but it does have an awesome selection! Cool produce that you can’t get anywhere else, as well as snacks from many different Asian countries and lots of other groceries that you won’t find anywhere else in the city. Also their coconut buns are awesome.

Update April 2018 Disaster! Prices are ridiculous. Same items that were cheaper have skyrocketed and are several dollars more expensive than at Loblaws which owns T&T. See pics... Aisles are in massive disarray and while some staff are working to restock... Most staff are wandering around aimlessly and chatting... They see they are in the way or talking to fellow staff at the cash and don't care! Limited selection... Toronto and Vancouver have far bigger stores with much more selection. The quality of the ready to eat foods are very low.

This store has lots to offer, however pricing on items that can be found at other supermarkets is rather exorbitant. This location does have sushi grade fish, if that's what you're after. One of the only places in the city to get it! Customer service is good. Parking lot is a bit lackluster, which is the case for all T&Ts. Overall, this place is a hit.

This is probably the smallest of the three TNT stores in Edmonton but still pretty big by grocery store standards. If you're looking for those hard to find Asian items on your grocery list, this is your place. Although the store is heavy on Chinese-centric goods, you will will find a healthy offering of Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai, and Indian foods/goods. If you have a sweet tooth and like "Pocky", and other Asian sweets, there is an entire aisle dedicated to them. The same goes for jerky, ramen, noodles, etc. This is probably one of the, if not the, best places to buy fresh meats and fish. They have live lobster and crab tanks too. Pricing tends to be very good. TNT also has a monster deli section and you can get freshly cooked ready to go meals as well as the usual Chinese BBQ (duck, sausage, pork, etc.). There is even a sit down place to eat in case you can't wait to get home or back to work. Saturdays are NOT a good time to go to TNT unless you enjoy constantly bumping into hordes of humanity at every step. Best time is weekdays in the morning or other typical "off" hours. And because of its popularity, all three stores are brutal for parking during the aforementioned peak times. All in all, a great place to shop, depending on when you go.
