Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

This is the absolute worst Swiss Chalet anywhere. When ordering delivery that comes from this store they never (not one single time) get it right. The food looks like it was dropped in the floor, the rolls are so hard you could use them as hammers, they "forget" their insanely priced pie and take so long to show we frequently assume they aren't coming. Sitting up to the store isn't much better. You have yell to get an employee to the take out resister and they always give the impression you are interrupting their day when you want to order food from the company that pays their wages. They get the order wrong here more often than not as well. You can if course eat in the dining room. The servers are either unintelligible or so apathetic they might as well be unintelligible. But at least you can send the food back immediately when they screw it up. Avoid this location if you enjoy food.

Frequently have take-out from this location and it's always good. Tonight we were going to go the movies and thought we'd eat in the restaurant where we had to wait to pay for our bill for 35 minutes (literally credit card in hand and wallet on the table for exactly 35 minutes). Instead of being at the movies, I'm now home writing this review because despite our planning to have lots of time for the movie, it was sold out when we got there... not worth it!!

Probably the best over all Swiss Chalet I have been to in years... dine in not always the best but my take out experiences are almost always very good. Please continue with this trend and thank your staff and management for a job well done!

Recommend calling ahead if you are going for takeout. Depending on what you are ordering the food can take some time to prepare. I find the chicken meals are readily available, but ribs and burgers take some time. The takeout area can get quite busy around dinner time, ordering ahead means you can get in and out rather quickly by picking up your food at the front bar.

This review is for the take out counter only. Fast! So fast! Lol. Friendly and great food also, at a fair price.
