Story

The Swiss Chalet Motel is only a short walk from downtown Revelstoke and is only driving minutes away from prime winter and summer activities. The motel caters to those on a budget with standard one and two queen rooms, for those travelling in a large group the two-bedroom rooms are perfect and for those who want that something extra special will appreciate the specialty suites which have king-size beds. We also have a pet-friendly room for dog lovers.

Honestly very pleasantly surprised with this place.  Older style road motel but has been recently renovated and it is obvious care to both quality and value were taken.  Bed a little on the soft side for me but that is a pleasant alternative to the usual stone slabs you find in most motels, and linens were of good quality.  Staff were courteous and offered a discount for the inconvenience of withdrawing cash since their payment systems were down.  Only downside was the fact that housekeeping knocked on my door at approximately 930am, when checkout was at 11.  I was awake, but housekeeping shouldn't be coming by before the checkout time.  All in all I can't judge too much for what was essentially a minor error and I will likely stay again if the situation requires.

Nice place!Friendly service! The bed was comfortable, room looked like it was freshly renovated! Price was good! Train was alittle loud across the road but other than that no complaints! Close to downtown and gas station!

Great experience at the Swiss Chalet.  Booked via their website based on rates and reviews provided by Google and was not disappointed.  Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.  Room was contemporary with plentiful charging outlets, beds were super comfortable, great water pressure, no lack of hot water.  Free passes and towels provided for the Revelstoke Aquatic Center.  Called the front desk to ask about ice and bucket and before I could get out the door they were at the room with both.  If you’re in Revy to recreate, this place has affordable rates and is a great value in my opinion.  I would book again without hesitation.

Forget your idea of what a motel is when you stay here. The place was amazingly clean, quiet and the staff were super friendly and helpful in helping plan our time in Revelstoke. It was unbelievable when I walked in and saw the rooms. They look brand new!

The breakfast is delicious and gets you ready for your day! It’s not super close to downtown and you can hear the trains if you try to listen hard but they’re not so loud as to disturb your sleep. 

This is my new place to stay every time I’m in town.
