Welcome! Powder Springs Inn is a locally owned hotel in the heart of the city with an on-site pub/restaurant The Last Drop

Story

We're located right in downtown Revelstoke, with spacious, clean, affordable rooms. They are air conditioned, all non-smoking rooms with wireless internet (specific locations) and a fully licensed restaurant. We can also easily accomodate banquets and meetings in our newly created theatre-type facilities. Pets are welcome in specific rooms. Check out our golf and ski packages. We offer senior, corporate, and group rates as well as deals for travellers wishing to stay more than one night.

The location is great. You are within walking distance of cafes, the farmers market and the river. The Last Drop pub has good food and live music. The inn is a bit dated, some of the tiles were cracked in our bathroom. However, the rooms were clean, the wifi was reasonably fast and there is ample parking.

Five star rating not a five star hotel. It’s very inexpensive and a bit of a time warp. Think hot tub time machine. Lots of character, and characters, tube TVs and old carpeting. Staff is very friendly and will chirp back at you. .

The reviews had me a bit apprehensive, but the price hooked me. Check in was easy, secured two rooms for a friend and me. Though my first room wasn't ready (it hadn't been turned over since the last guest), I phone the front desk and was instantly placed in a different room. So that wasn't a problem at all, things happen. The room was clean and the a/c worked well. The wall pump soap in the shower and at the sink was a bit unusual but not enough to to warrant complaint. What truly made the entire experience was the bar that is connected to the hotel, The Last Drop. What a fantastic place! We just stumbled in, not even realizing it was there. The band was fantastic (Red Haven, from Vancouver) and the bar staff was amazing. Had such a fantastic time. After a fun night of music and drinks, the bed back and the room was so cozy and felt like a cloud. I highly recommend this place.

The one star is for the excellent location, and friendly staff at the front desk. Take the bad reviews for this place seriously; I wish I had. Sure it's a bit cheaper, but its not cheap. You'll regret not spending a bit more when you're unable to sleep because the mattress on the bed is so shot that you're sunk in a hole all night. Other reviewers commented on the thin walls, but our problem was thin floors! We could hear every footstep, floor creak and word from the people in the room above us. It was like being in a cheaply finished basement. We weren't offended by the age of the decor, given the price point of this hotel. The restaurant is overpriced for the quality of the food, and the average tasting craft beer. If you have to stay here, book a top floor room and eat somewhere else!

The pub attached to this place is great I really can't complain but the hotel itself, well you get what you paid for. The room definitely wasn't clean there was a contact lens on the floor dried up in the bathroom a cigarette butt beside the bed along the wall (in a non-smoking room) so clearly they didn't vacuum and a big what appeared to be pen ink stain on my bed sheet well let's hope at least it was.
