The Explorers Society Hotel

A great find. Staff was more than helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. From the details through out the hotel, you can tell that someone put a lot of time and effort executing their dream.

Our son has worked in a few hotels so we have to go check where he works. Passing through Revelstoke we had to experience Explorer's society hotel. Nice quaint rooms. Staff are exceptionally friendly and aim to please all of their customers. We were there for the ski season. They have great facilities that even include ski storage and boot drying racks . The rooms are a comfortable, the comp breakfast was very good. The view from the breakfast/ top salon with access to the hot tub just makes you want to go skiing back to the most vertical mountain in North America. Thanks Iannick, Nick and the great welcome from the owners. Although the price seems a bit on the high side this hotel and the staff make it worth a visit. We will go back! These guys can talk ski forever and direct you to other sights to see in the area . They seek Revelstoke. They are great ambassadors for the city.

I am just passing through Revelstoke, but I think I would travel TO Revelstoke to stay at The Explorers Society. Beautifully designed and thoughtful accommodations! Warm, friendly and meticulously kept. There is so much care taken to every detail of the site and room, a 'boutique hotel' as it should be. Can't wait to come back! Be sure to check out 'the boiler room' in the basement if it is open! A private mid-century boiler-bunker that has been converted into a lux speakeasy-feeling whiskey bar. Gorgeous!

Great relaxing atmosphere! Modern room with comfortable bed and linens. Awesome shower and locally sourced continental breakfast!

- Excellent service - Professional hosts - Super comfortable rooms with premium bed and bed linen - Modern shower - Netflix in room - Nice selection of Scottish and Irish Whisky - Lots of excellent craft beer - Super delicious fresh and local food
