Sweetness Bakery Ancaster

Was not my first time at this bakery but it will be my last. The service I received was atrocious. I ordered two cakes and cupcakes. The cakes were so far from what I requested and sent photos for reference I couldn't believe it. The cakes were for a company event, one was the logo the other a themed cake. The logo was so terribly done I was embarrassed for the person responsible for it. The themed cake was also terribly done and did not make sense, it was beach themed with people sitting in funeral attire not beach wear. It left a lot to be desired. When I arrived to pick up my order the day of the event and saw the product I was shocked, when I told the women how I felt and asked if it could be fixed because the party was only a few hours away she told me it was not possible and told me she had said previously she would not be able to do the logo as it was, when I ordered the cake. When I told her, if you had said that I would have gone to another bakery not given you the business, she insisted it was my fault because she told me she couldn't do that. Her attitude was so awful, I left the product and received my money back. I rather serve nothing at my event then product from a bakery who is false advertising their skill set and treating paying customers in this manner. As a small business owner I know the challenges of keeping customers satisfied. However, I assure you treating them with an awful, negative and cowardly attitude is not going to keep them coming back. If you can't do something DO NOT take the business and if you do take the business and put out sub par product take ownership of your work. The logo was cracked, on an angle and not complete. It was thrown together and looked as if a child had done it. I will not post photos as I feel it will reflect badly on my company and on your future business. All I can say is if you order products from here have a back up plan or you may be left with nothing to serve at your event.

i cannot believe this location receives such a high rating. I order a cake from them. they quoted me for 300$, which i fine, good work deserves good pay. However, that was not the case. the cake looked like the most inexperienced person had prepared it. they actually had stick figures on the cake. i stick figures were suppose to be on a beach and they dressed them in suits....on a beach. when i explained that i was not at all satisfied with the product they try to pass off. they gave me the worst attitude i could have asked for. i never did take the product. so if you find a sad ass cake in their window today, that was mine.

When i'm in the area and want a treat I like to stop in and get some of the best cupcakes I've ever tasted. My brother also likes to pick up a few for events and sometimes just because. They're so good. Every time i visit i feel like a kid again. I love this place so much.

Without a doubt some of the best cupcakes I've ever had. The cakes are amazingly beautiful and they pay attention to even the smallest of details so that you end up getting even more than you ask for!!! Would recommend to ANYONE!!!

My wife ordered our wedding cake from this bakery because we like to support local businesses but the cake never came and the store wouldn't answer any of our phone calls was a terrible experience and super unprofessional they tried to offer a free cake for our next special occasion but why would we trust a place that already ruined the biggest day of our lives. Ps if I could put 0 stars I would but google doesn't let you thanks again for ruining my wedding day
