These women are the best cake specialists' I've ever met. Everytime I go there, it's always a joy. Very polite ladys. Amazing cakes. They continue to amaze me. And always give me want & desire in a cake/cupcakes/cookies. If you're looking for the perfect place for a wedding cake/birthday/special occasion this is the place to go. I've never had a bad experience once. I've been there multiple times, and I've had a perfect undergo experience. I 10/10 recommend the cake empire.

This is the best cake and cupcake shop in Stoney Creek.. not only is the staff wonderful.... very professional.The cakes and cupcakes look great and taste AMAZING!!!

We ordered a small gold 80th birthday cake with a 3 dimensional '80' on top, made of what appeared to be fondant. I arrived the morning of the event to pick up the cake, and I noticed that the cake was on display and not being refrigerated. The hall that we were holding the event at was down the street from Cake Empire. In the 5 minute drive to get from Cake Empire to the hall, the '80' that was on top of the cake was wilting. We immediately put it in fridge. A few moments later we opened the fridge and the 8 that was apart of the 3 dimensional '80' had broken completely. We called Cake Empire right away after trying to save it, and they 'just so happened' to have a gold glittery paper 8 and 0 that looked like it was bought from the dollar store. This lead me to believe that they new that this could possibly happen, and were prepared for us to come back and complain. The small gold cake was VERY expensive, and we could have put those dollar store paper toppers on it ourselves. No discount or refund was offered to us after the 8 was destroyed. If they knew that it was a possibility that the 3 dimensional '80' would not hold up, they should have given us the back up paper 80 upon my first arrival as a just in case. After arriving to pick up the dollar store paper 80 toppers, the women at the counter apologized and said "so was it hot outside?" I laughed and said no. Either make the cake so it stands up properly, or advise us that it won't work. The cake was fine, but was so small and the price was VERY high for what it was, especially since we were forced to add the dollar store toppers. The ladies knew that this would happen and instead of preparing us, they waited until it did happen. I will not be recommending nor returning for this reason.

Sandy and Lisa are absolute sweethearts; cupcakes, cakes, cookies and SO MUCH more are all to die for! Highly recommend mint Oreo cupcakes, and Nutella filled cookies!! 💜
