Excellent coffee and w delightful assortment of cakes. I forgot to actually order a cake but received a small complimentary biscuit with my coffee. This was so marvellous and of such a high standard I'd be confident to guess that the food here is as good as it looks Important note. This is onw of the only places in the city to serve coffee right up until 4.15pm!! So yourself a favour.
I love this bakery so much! i even think they serve the bestest cakes in the entire Darwin city. The price is affordable, the taste is incredible. The staffs and owner are really nice and warm people too. The roast beef toasty is my fav there. All cakes are good actually. Some people also recommend to try carrot cake there
Beautiful red velvet wedding cake ! Looked wonderful, tasted and smelled fantastic and was delivered without any hassles. Kurt listened and worked with us every step of the way and we couldn’t be happier!
Ordered a cake for my partner's bday, they did a really good job. I have not had such a delicious cake since I moved to darwin. They are pretty quick with their service, we went early morning to ordered a cake for same day and they were happy to make it for us. It was recommended by a friend qnd I didn't regret it.

Lots of pastry goodies to choose from. The young lady behind the counter is super friendly. Got a brownie slice and vanilla slice and really didn’t expect it to be sooo good! Vanilla slice is super fresh with flaky pastry. Brownie is super decadent. Very affordable prices and their cake displays looks great too!
Kurk's Cakes located on Cavanaugh is mainly a cake shop. Coffee is available. Staff are friendly. But the main character,the passtery chef is kind and dedicated to the trade. If you like cakes with lots of cream, that's the place for you to go.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Kurt and I can't speak more highly of the service I received from him. I contacted him from Sydney with a day's notice to prepare a cake for my son's birthday. He was so helpful and informative and nothing was too much trouble. The cake was ready for collection exactly when he said it would be and it looked and apparently tasted delicious! Thank you so much Kurt ~ I am so grateful for your help!
Great service always. Nice snack and lunch foods. Coffee always good. But really it is all about the cakes. And especially the best vanilla slice in the world.
