A Great Little Shop to bring Your Sweetie Pie. Sweetie Pie is a bakery and coffee shop location just off Unionville Main Street. They serve up baked goods, specialty coffees, Ice Cream and Cold and Hot drinks. We stopped in for Ice cream and Coffee after lunch at a local restaurant. The grown-ups ordered espressos and the kids got Ice cream, we also picked up a couple of things from the baked goods section. It's a great little shop with limited seating so most of the customers just grab and go. There are many places in the Unionville Main Street area to sit and enjoy your drinks and treats, or you can just take them home. If you're in the Unionville Main Street area, drop into Sweetie-Pie and check it out for yourself. it's a great little spot to bring your Sweetie-Pie !!
Love the variety of pies and treats and right in the heart of unionville! So many treats! But had to order pies from the menu since our is in their name! The lemon meringue pie is definitely the must order! That meringue was so soft, creamy and had a melty marshmallowy texture! And so nice of a balance with that tart lemon filling and that amazing pie crust! Blueberry was the safe order and such a delicious contender for yummy pies! There was a ton of blueberry filling which was nice! And when you look, they have so many awesome treats. Almost made me not buy pie but cookies. But at least I know that cookies are just a short drive away now! Service was good and no complaints on that end! Great job overall! My new place for fresh pies!
An excellent place for coffee, dessert or ice cream in the middle of Unionville, but not on the main street, but on a side street, so it's less busy. A large selection of sweets and ice creams. They have a patio which is a big advantage in the summer, as well as for cyclists who can sit by their bikes. This place is nice, clean and affordable.
Came by today after finishing lunch. Loved how the store looks, very quaint. Ordered 2 small pies, strawberry rhubarb and key lime pie currently on sale, now I know why I guess Was quite excited to try them tonight. Cut into the key lime pie and it literally is in clumps and the crust is overdone. See pics attached. Doesn't taste creamy at all, and quite honestly really disappointed as it's my favorite pie and this is a disservice. BTW, I cut the pie with a pie server and it still turned out like this... I didn't just stick my fork in. Will try the strawberry rhubarb tomorrow and update accordingly.
So happy I came across this bakery today. They have so many delicious options to choose from cake in a jar, cookies, ice cream, pies, brownies, butter tart, date squares and much more including drinks. I got the matcha green tea and it's delicious. I got birthday cake in a jar, its a bit too sweet for me but I really recommend the cookies! The shop is really cute and sleek. There are a few tables and chairs in the front. The service is amazing, I accidentally spilled my drink outside and they immediately made me a new one. They were super calm about it and made my experience so much better. I highly recommend this place.
I've been to Sweetie Pie twice and had a wonderful experience both times. The staff are friendly and courteous, the interior is beautiful, and the pies are amazing. I've never been crazy for pies, but Sweetie Pie has officially converted me into a pie lover. I've tried their apple and banana cream pies, which were both delicious and high quality. You can really taste the homemade flavour in the flaky and buttery crusts as well as the perfectly sweet fillings. If you're ever in Unionville, definitely visit Sweetie Pie!
We bought 4 of the cooked hot pies and reheated them at home and it was good. We also got a few cookies but those were definitely overrated and overcharged. The girls were nice at the front and for a cute little place - This definitely is a great choice for a snack on the road
Super cute dessert and bake shop! We have gotten the ice cream a bunch of times before. We wish that they carried a more versatile array of flavours, we find that they stick with the crowd favourites and don’t often stock berry or sorbet types. Mostly chocolate! We got the cookies and tried one of each, strongly recommend the Nutella filled, and the standard chocolate cookie—both were amazing and soft. Perfect for milk and cookies. However, at 3 dollars a cookie plus tax…it’s kind of really steep for something that small. Very dense and not overly sweet. This is the perfect gift to bring to a lunch or dinner so that a group can have a quick treat to curb their sweet tooth. The pies that are baked are ridiculously good looking, will have to revisit to give them a try. Shop is clean and main area kept clear.
Stopped by this shop recently. Owner served us, was really nice. Gave our puppy a dog treat that looked homemade she loved it. We tried a few things. The mini coconut cream pie $8. It was very good. My kids tried the mini cookies 3 for $5 and liked them. While we were there saw someone return one for a new one, not sure why? The butter tart under $4 was ok but top of tart was not baked properly. Also, they serve kawartha ice cream and hot/iced coffee. Owner said that coffee wasn’t their speciality though.
I was very excited to come here because my friends had recommended this place! The store itself is decorated very nicely and has a cute sitting area outside. The inside is very clean and organized. Many flavours and variety of goods to choose from: there’s pies, cookies, ice cream, cake jars, drinks, and some other baked goods. Unfortunately, I found strands of hair in more than one of the cookies I got — and I bought one of each flavour. This ruined the experience for me. The pie also managed to be raw on the bottom and nearly burnt on the top. I hope the bakers figure out their recipes and start caring more about hygiene.
