Mother's Deli & Bakery

I went into Mother’s Deli a while back due to constant recommendations from my neighbours. The first time I went in the roast beef was fresh out of the oven. Ted gave me the end slice the best piece to eat while had made my sandwich Not only is the roast beef incredibly tender, with a light fresh flavour; but Ted is an incredibly warm, friendly person. Half the reason to visit is the incredible food, the other more than half is feeling welcome. I love food, this is consistently a regular spot on the top of my lunch list

the sandwiches here are really good! love the amount of meat in the bangin’ beef and the veal with that thick layer of cheese just did it all in! Taste was amazing and loved it all. The service was great with the owner and I having great conversation and with that in mind, great service! Nice, local shop that really no frills and all about the sammies! Great job! The food and service was amazing. Teddy is very welcoming as he gives you a big bright smile that makes your visit even nicer. My first visit I had the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich and I came back the following week and I had the Veal on a Bun. Absolutely, delicious and the price is very reasonable to. I highly recommend to stop by.

Got the roast beef sandwich for lunch. It's nice if you get the horseradish for a bit of a kick. Wish there was a bit more flavour to the beef but it was still good. The space is clean and service is really lovely.

Just working around the corner and we happened to find this family run Bakery. We ordered The banging beef and another sandwich we are not allowed to talk about. Forget about subway and fast food places. If you want freshly sliced meat and toppings in your sandwiches this is the places to go. I realized after I should of taken a picture but ate it too fast....sorry

Their sausage rolls are delicious! We love their food and every year, we ordered turkey for Thanksgiving! Thank you for the turkey!

Would give more than 5 stars if I could! A true Markham staple! I've been coming to mothers deli for over 20 years- nothing compares! Ted is truly amazing and there's nothing like visiting a local family business who always put their customers first. The roast beef sandwiches are a MUST TRY - if you know, you know!

The Fight Club is one if the best sandwiches ever! Also had a coffee, brownie and jamaican patty- all amazing. The owner is so nice and friendly! Highly recommend
