Sweet Lou’s Cookies

First time trying cookies from Sweet Lou’s Cookies - did not disappoint! The staff were also friendly, which made the visit feel very inviting. Good selection of flavours to choose from the price is a bit on the higher end, but keep in mind it is a small business, so I was happy to support. Tried the cinnamon and Reese cookies - wasn’t too sweet and the cookies had good flavour! Was also nice to receive a coupon with the purchase, which I look forward to coming back to use!

Great variety of cookies and I'm glad to see some new additions since the last time I went around a year ago. They have a discount on prices for walk-in customers $21 + tax for 1 dozen cookies so each cookie is under $2 which is comparable or even cheaper than cookies you can buy at bakeries. However, the prices for milkshakes and ice cream sandwiches/sundaes seem a little high. I will note that the ice cream sandwich seems to give you a lot of ice cream between two cookies of your choice.

Sweet Lou's are doing cookies and ice cream right. Located near the heart of Waterloo, they are slinging out amazing ice cream cookie sandwiches that are high up there in standards. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend visiting them for any of their menu.

Definitely love love love this place. The cookies are so good. I, personally, love the smores one. The little marshmallow on top is delectable. The ice cream sandwiches are a dream! The hot chocolate is so yummy too. It is always a great experience going there. Honestly considering having these cookies as our wedding cake. Lol.

Sweet Lou's is easily one of the best dessert places in Waterloo. My friends and I went for the first time and Lou was welcoming and super wholesome. We ordered a dozen cookies, milk shake and icecream sandwiches. The cookies were sweet and toothsome while the icecream wasn't too sweet and had a very smooth texture. 10/10 experience, would come again.

I cannot express to you how much I love this store, every experience there has filled my heart with joy and restores my faith in humanity. The owners are angelic, saint-like people who are literally overjoyed to see you. The cookies themselves make you feel like you’re cozied up beside a fire, comfortable and beaming ear-to-ear. If you do one thing in life, swing by Sweet Lou’s and experience the BEST service and dining of your life.

Awesome cookies, great service. Owner and all staff are very friendly. I grab a dozen of these regularly to celebrate my mini accomplishments in my life : The staff are seriously so kind and welcoming. I go here more than I’d like to admit. Love this place.
