First time trying it and I was really intrigued by it. It was good, the mango was phenomenal and that shaved iced holy! I could eat that for days! It was so refreshing and the staff was super friendly and attentive. And prices were great! The sizes were amazing! I'm glade I only got the regular haha. Definitely coming back! Such a great experience.
This place was super cute and t he Binsu was delicious! I really liked the mango flavor! Inside was very clean and aesthetic. The prices were pretty affordable and they had a lot of flavors to choose from! Overall, I enjoyed my first experience here!
Delicious bingsu. I got the cup injeolmi and it was a good size for 1 person. The shaved ice was very smooth and milky/creamy. Very refreshing. Bingsu is a bit pricey but it tastes good. The staff was nice and food was served quick. I will be back again to try the other different flavours of bingsu.
I had never had Bingsu before but was excited to try it. I had the strawberry cheesecake bingsu. I got a cup size which was more that enough for even my sizable appetite. The full size would need to be shared. For those like me who are unfamiliar with the dessert Bingsu is a shaved ice served topped with ice cream and a variety of other toppings: in my case condensed milk, fresh strawberries and sliced almonds. The toppings tasted fresh and delicious and though i feared it would be too sweet I found it all balanced well as the more neutral shaved ice kept it from becoming too heavy. I also ordered a passion fruit milk tea with tapioca bubble. It wasn't the best bubble tea I have had in Waterloo, but it wasn't bad either. All in all this a great place to grab dessert with a friend if you are downtown.
Bingsu is a family favourite dessert place. The shaved ice is silky smooth and has a very close texture to ice cream. They are very popular on a warm summer night and the dishes take some time to make but are we'll worth the wait.
Amazing place to get bingsoo and other desserts! If you get the bingsoo in a larger size, I recommend sharing it with someone as it's very filling! The matcha almond bingsoo is my favourite to get! The atmosphere of the place is very nice and the staff are very friendly! Definitely come here if you're wanting some Korean desserts!
Great place! The bubble tea $5 was surprisingly very good! The texture of the Boba was soft but it had a nice chew. The strawberry bingsu $13 was delicious and the serving was giant. I recommend regular size to split with at least 2-3 people. Would come back.
I like this new place in Uptown of Waterloo. Aesthetic Korean cafe with a huge amount of different drinks. Friendly staff helped with my choice. We got some delicious desserts and incredible drinks last time. Korean traditional ice cream is top. I do recommend this place to my friends and family.
This was my second time coming to The Bingsu and it was really good! I tried the injeolmi and mango bingsus here before and decided to get mango again with my friend and add the cheesecake bites. It was really refreshing and perfect to share with other pals! Definitely come try this place if you’re in uptown!
We got taro bubble tea and the mango bingsu to share. It was pretty good I can see why the line was so long. The wait was about 45 mins from getting in line to getting our order. Portions are pretty big, next time we will probably do the cup sized bingsu to split.
