They claim to be able to train my dog that is a rescue. They had me change her diet to raw for a month prior. Made me hurry up pay for her to keep her spot. I explained exactly how she was since she was a rescue from a slaughterhouse. Patrick claimed he specialized in rescues. In the end we showed up he claimed she missed her appointment because she wouldn't go in because there were kids and people in his store and we weren't allowed to walk in the store with my other dog which is her support dog. They wouldn't give me my money back. My dog also lost weight on the diet Lynn said would make her maintain her weight that we got her up to before feeding Raw. They very much think they know EVERYTHING. When infact they obviously didn't read my dog reactions very well outside. Lynn was scared of her. My dog barks but won't bite. She does this because she is scared of humans. She had been in the store previously with my other dog and was perfect. I tried to set up the assessment before but they didn't want to until she was on raw for a month so she would get all junk out of her system. Needless to say all I got was them Taking my money and them showing my dogs that once again another human let her down.

I have been taking my puppy here for training. They have literally given us a new understanding on how to communicate with our little baby. And today I tried out their grooming services. My baby has never looked or smelled so good. I am going to be using their services for life.

Lynn and the team always try to accommodate and support the needs of the owners and takes the dogs best interest into account. Food is great and healthy as well having a variety of treats that my dog loves. Grooming is top notch and training creates a safe place for your dog. Thanks Crown K9!

My experience and review relate only to the retail portion of this business - I've never registered for any training course. Many of the other recent reviews seem to share the same sentiment in that the owners especially Lynn talk down to clients and their confidence over-reaches their actual knowledge with respect to raw vs kibble. This even comes through in some of their Google responses. The claim that only raw is good for your dog is silly and although they speak of the dry food industry not being good anymore, this certainly isn't the case if you do some research. They claim that only their raw food is good for your pet and disagreeing with her will get you in hot water. We were also a client when they had their shop on King St and have seen them grow their business. Happy to see others do well and we always encourage local business but feel that although they may mean well they often go to far and "discipline" you if your opinion or that of your Vet doesn't match their school of thought. They often come across as condescending which is something I've seen them do to other clients as well so it's not just me! Make sure you get proper veterinarian advice before taking Lynn at her word - she seems to be learning as she goes and often blaming the customer if she has made a mistake. Educate yourself before expecting this store to provide you with an unbiased opinion because that's not how they operate.

With only 5 dogs in each class and two trainers you are assured lots of personal attention with your dog. Both trainers have extensive knowledge about all breeds of dogs, providing specific tips and tricks not only for dogs in general but pertaining to your breed. Before I met these two, just the thought of feeding my dogs raw sent me on an antibacterial cleaning spree. Despite my skeptical outlook, I gave it a try and the proof is in my dogs health, behavior and lack of shedding! Keep up the great work. It is so clear you are passionate about dogs, awesome!

Lynn and Patrick are amazing people who have a vast amount of knowledge and experience they love to share. Couldn't be happier with their services. We love taking our pup here to be groomed and new addition to the team, James never disappoints. Even Oliver can agree, this is the place to be...mostly because he gets lots of cookies!

We just started going to Crown K9 as we are transitioning our 4 yr old dobe back to raw and they have been amazing! They are so welcoming and a huge resource for us and helping troubleshoot our girls diet. We found out about them through a few friends who also go there. All around we highly recommend them
