Sushi Newtown

The sushis were delicious and so were the pokebowls. Everything was tasty, fresh and flavorful. The softshell crab sushi and the lobster ones were particularly delicious! The presentation of the plates was well done. The decor is modern and would be a good place for a date night or a family dinner. You can see the sushi chef making his craft from the bar which is always interesting to look at. The staff was very nice, friendly and efficient too. I would recommand this restaurant to anybody who loves sushi!

A good place to have sushi, although it is pretty expensive for the portions they serve you. Better to share dishes between friends if you are looking to try more than just a few dishes. Their miso soup is really good if you are into that! Also their salmon sashimi is better than other sushi places but served at a premium.

I went there because i had a coupon for the poke bowl. The poke bowl was devious and the service was very nice! I would definitely go back there to try their sushi! I also had a miso soup which was so-so.

I regularly order from Sushi Newtown for its quality and the reasonable price. I ordered Mother’s Day special today. It was a pleasure trying out all kinds of sashimi, nigiri, maki, snow crab and Toro with this good price!

One of my FAV sushi spots in Montreal. The sushi quality is comparable to a high end sushi resto, and is very decently priced! Family run business, and they are always so nice. Highly recommend :

Generous portion fresh food. Poke was very delicious but Miso soup has a room for improvement.

A little expensive especially for lunch, but the Maki sushi combo included some large pieces with ample fresh fish including tuna!. I really like that they don't drown their sushi in mayo, yet the rolls are still very flavourful. Would definitely return
