Ka Lo Hin

No one should ever eat here. We had 5 people and they charged us another 5$ per person they didn’t tell us. Food was boring, small selection, not much taste, food was cold. Waiter didn’t bother coming to our table to fill up water until we were all done eating, didn’t ask how the food was or check up on us at all. Short ass stems left on grapes made it nearly impossible to take them off before eating them. Washrooms relatively clean... but no paper towel.

12.95$ for the lunch special between 11.30am and 3pm. The price is great for the quality. Compared to the big buffets in Chinatown, this place offers a better selection of sushi. It does have less options overall though. The sushi tastes fresh and they have good quality pieces. The place is clean, service is good and the workers are smiling.

Lots of choice in the usual Chinese dishes, and a few different varieties of sushi too! Of course all of this is buffet, so for the price, it's amazing. Tastes good too. Lots of place, yet nice and cozy. Good for a family meal!

I have been visiting Kalohin for the last 10 years and I still skip breakfast when I know I will be having lunch there! I have never once had an issue with the service which has been excellent! Now the Food...I used to teach sushi and the taste and quality of the Sushi served is Considering this is a Buffet really VERY VERY good! Items that are breaded are delightfully crispy and not over drenched in sauce! Nothing soggy here! Crisp fresh veggie dishes. Everything tastes as it should or better! Peanut butter dumplings, rice just right, tasty meaty spareribs, Egg and Spring rolls...noodles Al Denté!!! Not just good Chinese food...but in my humble opinion...for a buffet...one of the best around!

Good quality food, much better than the big buffet in Chinatown. Staff is nice, a little expensive though. Beware of the sushi girl, she's dirty, she uses gloves, but she never change them, i saw her walking around and touching doors, going in the kitchen with them, mixing stuff in the buffet, scratching herself and coming back in the sushi area making more sushi with the exact same gloves without removing them. I wonder what they do in the kitchen... Update: the ownership changed, since then the food quality is bad, the new owner a chubby Asian guy will even go as far as adding the tip amount for you on the credit card machine....

Best Chinese buffet ever, even better than China town’s buffets. Good service, good food. Most interesting thing is there’s Sushi corner, which chef made right on the spot. But, I think most of food is little bit salty to some persons. That’s only one I can complain.

We dropped in the place for dinner. Food looked good, but not much food in serving trays. Food was NOT hot at all. Tasty enough. Desserts looked really old. The guy who cleared the plates away was good at his job.

First time I came there on Saturday and it was great. Fresh food, so tasty, hot, big choice. I decided to come back in a few weeks on Thursday - and it was the worst dining experience I've ever had! It felt like they served whatever was left from a previous weekend. All food, including soups, was cold, meat and rice were OLD and DRY, some pots were empty and no one was filling them up. I couldn't eat almost anything, it was dry and greasy at the same time. I am NEVER coming back there.
