Had a chance to try the sushi offerings at Hidden Fish during F1 weekend. The overall experience was excellent. Service was top notch and extreme attentive. We ordered the premium sashimi and nigiri chef choice as well as some mail rolls. Fish was super fresh and melt in your mouth tasty. Some of the fish had so much flavour and some of the white fish, don’t remember which one, we didn’t care for but that was our preference. Highly recommend Hidden Fish and looking t forward to going back in the near future.
The fish is always fresh here! Love their nigiris! The ratio of fish and rice is perfect not like other places that has much more rice than fish. More on the expensive price but definitely worth it!!
Wow where to start?! Truely it was a hidden sushi place for Me. That dinner was impeccable! Simply. It was on the Grand Prix weekend too. F1 You don’t have to believe me, just look at this….too bad the rest was filmed and not pictures But i will try to upload any if i can. PS The Bill was 3k and we were 10 peoples and everybody was full ‍
Love the ambiance here. The staff is so gracious and welcoming. I felt totally comfortable as they prepared my meal. I came in and ordered take out and was sat at the bar. So I watched the chefs prepare my meal and spoke with them. They were all very talented and made the sushi so well. I’ve had the privilege of having sushi in Japan and this will be a place I order from again for sushi that reminds of it. It’s high quality cuts, melt in your mouth maguro and perfectly done rice. I recommend trying what we got: chefs choice Nigiri, salmon tartar maki, tuna tartar maki and unagi maki and this ones key because prep is essential for this to taste good. We also tried the standard Wakami salad and their kani salad - overall good. Don’t miss the nigiri here. When I go back I’ll be trying in house and ordering sashimi for sure.
Order the nigiri. The fish is fresh and the toppings are original complimenting the fish so well! The chefs really seem to pay attention to every detail. Really loved my experience here but it’s a bit on the pricier side. The makis were ok and the sashimi was good but I highly recommend sticking to ordering the nigiris. Would come again for a special event but would not come here on a regular basis as it’s pricey.
The service crew is great and friendly. Got to see them take issues calmly and professionally. The food is a bit bland. Trying to figure out the flavors but sadly only a hint can be tasted. They mentioned of explosion of flavor but sadly the herbs stood out. The wagyu and crav taste wasn't there. Dessert in my opinion was good. Tasted the macha and the other additives were minor hint. Atmosphere is great. Calm and great to just relax. For the price reflects to the place. The ingredients were a bit much and probably the reason for it to be pricey.
Lovely food and service. A selection of cocktails, whiskies, and other alcohols. I had two maki and my partner had the chef's selection of nigiri. Tasted fresh. Would eat there again. Dessert selection was anemic chocolate cake and a cheesecake, but they are working on it.
Second time at this amazing restaurant and first time for my partner; he couldn’t stop raving about the quality, presentation and mouth watering taste of the dishes. Everything was melt in your mouth sensation, especially the wagyu sashimi. Ricky served us and he made sure we were very well taken care of! Can’t wait to keep coming back and sharing this place with more friends and family!
I’ve had hidden fish take out a few times before dining indoors and my god, such a big difference! Although it’s still yum takeout, the whole done in experience is more enjoyable. It is definitely pricy but the quality is so so worth it! I went with my good friend, Esther, and we didn’t get too many pieces it was a good amount for 2 small girls. There wasn’t anything we disliked and we got what our server recommended to us. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived 5pm but it quickly filled up! The busboy offered us a bigger, nicer corner table since it wasn’t busy when we entered so that was a plus! I would love to come back to try other items and maybe some of their drinks!
Good sushi in a dimly lit space. Definitely more of a quality than quantity spot. Notably, we enjoyed the Hotaru and Ora King Roll. Would recommend for 1-on-1 or small group occasions.
